I'm taking no medicine I spent 2 1/2 years losing all my weight through exercise and good eating habbits. I never saw a doctor or any diets. I did this the right, and hard way, and I am thankful now.

WOW!!!! Good for you!! You must feel absolutely amazing. Your appetite is probably different because your stomach shrank and can't hold as much food. Keep up the good work!

That's "habits" and since you had to cut down on your eating to lose weight, why are you surprised that are now satisfied with less food? Your body got used to being fed a smaller amount, but still found it satisfactory to work with...versus you overeating in the past where the excess was stored as 100 lbs of fat.

Be GLAD your appetite is lower! Make sure you eat enough a day to keep your body going and not let your metabolism drop (at least 1200 cals a day, pref more)...otherwise, be thankful you're not constantly hungry as many people are when dieting.

I supect that you are probably eating the way many people eat to maintain a good weight... normal size meals. In my family there are some "healthy" eaters. They think I eat like a bird, when really I do not. I just eat normal meals. Dinner might be a small salad, some broccoli, and a baked pork chop. That would just be a snack for some of them. Your body has readjusted and no longer wants some of the foods you once ate. And big, and I do mean BIG, high fives to you for such an incredible weight loss! That is really something !!!

Well, when you lose weight your body doesn't need as many calories to go through it's daily processes. In general I've heard to multiply your current or goal weight by ten to see how many calories you take in and how many you'd need to take in to reach your goal weight. Of course you're never supposed to go under 1200. But you probably know all this. Anyways. when you do this you'll see that you need fewer calories or food for your body to keep going at the different weights. Since you've done it by yourself you've learned to eat right, and now it's just habit. Your body doesn't need all the food it did before. also a lot of people over eat for emotional reasons and they have to get over that before they can lose the weight. So mayb you got over whatever was causing you to eat the way you did, and you just don't need the extra food anymore.

i guess ur stomach has shrunk... its a good thing ... nothing to worry abt... it happens with everyone.. i mean if a person eats a lot and suddenly decreases his or her food intake.. and eats less food for a long time or even for a short period of time say 2 3 weeks a month.. thenhis stomach shrinks... he becomes full even by eating less food even though u get the same amt of hunger as u do before....u get full fast .. vice versa if u start eating a lot again than fr a few days ull feel like u have eaten too much.. and will throw up.. but after a few days ull start eating more again ur stomach will expand again....

I think it because your stomach has shrunk. The same thing happens to me when I try to lose weight. It could also be caused by a medicine you are taking.

Don't question it. If you are a good weight now, keep doing what you're doing.
