I Want to replace MS office 2000 with 2003, My Question is

1- Will it affect my saved documents (words, excel.....) in any way ? should I backup my documents ?
2- What should I do with my outlook emails.. will it be there or they will be removed ? Should I backup it also ?

Please advise? Any additional suggestion is welcome.

Thanks

First, your files will be fine. Microsoft hasn't changed the file formats in about 10 years. 2003 will read them.

Second, sounds like you have the OEM install and not the upgrade. Assuming that, you should uninstall the existing version and do a clean install of Office 2003.

I think everything will be ok and not get deleted. I would make note of the location of your Outlook mailbox and it certainly couldn't hurt to make a backup copy of that folder just to be safe. You can delete it later.

SHOULD not afface saved documents, but you should have a backup ANYWAY So YES back them up before you change stuff.

For Emanils EXPORT all your personal folders to a .PST file, then you can import into new account
Also EXPORT all the EMAIL ACCOUNTS then reload into the new version.

In Outlook, click HELP, then search for EXPORT to find out full detaisl, been ages since I used Outlook

Keep all of your documents and emails, they should be able to work just fine when you upgrade to the newer version. There is also a 2007 version out, but it's primarily for vista and most likely wouldn't work too well for you.

backup outlook first
upgrading is easy and compatibility is ok, but outlook does not always upgrade, and may have to manually import PST files.
