I think its great! I am hoping that Kyle does go to DEI and he takes the number 5 with him and Teresa lets Jr take the number 8 with him to HMS

I'd rather seen Earnhardt go to a Ford, but what the hey.........
According to Jayski, Kyle Busch is going to the #8 so it pretty much amounts to a driver swap.
"Statement from Kyle Busch Regarding Departure from HMS: UPDATE 2: Kyle Busch, driver of the #5 Chevry in the Nextel Cup Series for Hendrick Motorsports and four-time Nextel Cup race winner, will depart Hendrick Motorsports at the conclusion of the 2007 season. The following is a statement from Busch regarding the decision to leave: "We had been working on a contract extension for me to remain at Hendrick Motorsports, but after prolonged negotiations, we mutually agreed that a fresh start was in order. I have been granted a release after the 2007 season. I have tremendous respect for Mr. Hendrick and everyone at Hendrick Motorsports. It's where I grew up, and I have a lot of great memories. Some are mad about his leaving DEI, but not everyone.
I think that Jr. did the best thing possible.
He's gotten out from under Teresa's thumb and gotten into a team that's going to support him 100%.
He's going to have the equipment and assistance that he needs to win.

I don't blame Jr. at all. He wants to win. . .he is the one who has to show up for the races. I don't blame him for wanting to be on a good team. . .and looking at this season so far he is joining the best team. I have never pulled for Gordon or Johnson and probably never will, but I will always support Junior, because I consider myself a true fan of his. I hope he does really well. Even Hendrick said he would invite Teresa to Junior's Championship dinner, lol.

Don't care really the Jr. has made his decision and that is final. People who don't like Hendrick will just have to get over it.
As far as Kyle goes.....Be gone might reckless one, be gone.

I am not mad. Surprised.. but not mad. I think any driver looking for a ride would have to consider Hendrick. He has been too successful not to. That is like all great baseball players have to consider playing for the Yankees. They have won too many world series to not at least consider it.
Even if you played for the Red Sox.

No. Dale Jr. is just trying to make the best choices that will allow him to be a more successful driver. I'm looking forward to seeing him in Victory Lane more.

Stop whining and start dominating!
Busch wants a team where he will be their number one driver not the number three.
