You shouldn't be afraid to talk to him. What's the worse that could happen? Here's some tips: flirt with him, but don't be too flirty, perhaps be a little mysterious, don't make a fool of yourself by trying to show off in front of him and his friends too much.

Try maybe getting his number from a friend, or even an email address. Then start talking to him. Don't be afraid to let him see the true you. Then you will warm up to eachother.
