I have the same problem. Sometimes a little baby powder does the trick. But then its greasy by the end of the day. Good to do if you need to run errands and shower later.
Make sure you use a light weight shampoo & conditioner! Keep conditioner away from your scalp (ur skin has its own moisturizer) just put it on your ends. You can even skip conditioner and use a detangler, like good old fashion No More Tears, like the kids use.
Another great trick, put Conditioner on the very ends of your hair, leave it there while you shampoo the top. Then rinse and dry. That way you don't have dry ends and a greasy top. (another problem of my since I color).
One more tip... If you are happy with your hair color. Get a bottle of your own color and die your hair. Does wonders for oily hair.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Your hair is just trying to protect itself. I know it's not going to feel good but go 2 or 3 days without washing it so it can condition itself with its natural oils. During this time keep it pulled back or up so it won't bother you so bad. Then wash it with a shampoo for oily hair and use a good conditioner like Aussie 3 minute miracle. You should deep condition your hair once or twice every two weeks. Then try to only wash your hair every other day unless you have gotten sweaty. I know it sounds crazy but the more you wash your hair the more oily it will get. It's just the way it reacts when it tries to protect itself. Also if you can't stand it you take some cold water in your hands, flip your hair over and run your hands through it a couple of times then run a dry towel over your hair. This will help refresh and give your hair a lift without harming it by washing it too much. Also you could put a dab of baby powder in your hand and rub them together, then run it under your hair, not to much though, this will absorb some of the oils.

I have the same problem but, I like to wash it everyday. The only thing I can think of to avoid the greasy hair in the morning would be to either skip the conditioning once and awhile or to use a shampoo and conditioner specifically for greasy hair. You can probably find a shampoo/conditioner that is for greasy hair in any super market. If you really can't find anything that works. Go to a local salon and ask them, they may carry more answers you seek. Good Luck.

Okay well first of all, blow-drying and straitening your hair everyday makes it dry and kills it. I understand the reason to and you probably won't stop just because I tell you this so what you should do is get a deep conditioner that you will use every week, which will help repair your hair. These are available everywhere, but I recommend Aveda. On the greasy part, it may have to do with changing your sheets and wrapping your hair in a silk scarf. I know this may sound silly, but it can really help. Also washing you hair everyday takes away natural oils in your hair, so you should try doing it every other day.

use special shampoo for oily hair that works to dry out the scalp. stop blow drying and ironing it all the time too. just let your hair dry naturally. i dont know if youll be able to wash it less, but when hair is straightened, i think it looks more greasy than if it was natural.

You might be putting in too much conditioner. You may also be eating to much oily foods. Try using hair powder, you can find it at most salons. You put the hair powder in so you won't have to wash it and your hair won't look greasy all the time.

Do you change the brand of shampoo and conditioner you use from time to time? That helps to prevent build up. I have really fine hair (in the sense that it's thin, not I'm-so-fine :-)) so I keep a couple of different bottles in the shower and switch it up. Also, combing your hair a lot will distribute the oils more evenly which can make your hair healthier overall.

I would start using conditioner only every two or three days.
Use a light detangling spray to make it easier to comb. Use a deep conditioner once a week to help make up for the damage you're doing by styling each day. Try asking your stylist for a different style that you don't need to straighten every day to cut back on the daily fry.

try a little less conditioner (and dont put any conditioner on your scalp, only on the tips of your hair)
then, when you come out the shower, put your wet hair in a ponytail, and sleep. when you awaken, your hair should be damp and just dry it.
if anything, use a two in one~shampoo & conditioner~ so you dont have to put too much of anything oily near your scalp
~good luck~
