I'm a very open and honest individual. I believe in honesty, loyalty, respect, communication, equality in a relationship. But how come when i meet a woman in person and we talk they seem to "fall" for me when im' trying to just be friends?

ok ok i know i botched the question part of it. so sue me lol. the reason i asked if women are afraid of love is because everytime i get one on the phone or in person sooner or later they end up telling me they love me and i dont feel the same. so when i try to explain it, it doesnt come out right. Like today i bumped into a woman that attends USF down here and she has a bf. Well she and i chatted for a min and i invited her to dinner in a couple of weeks. I told her that i didnt want her bf getting the wrong idea and she replies just call me and winks at me. Help?

im not trying to turn strangers into friends. I'm just trying to make friends. I ask them about hobbies, general chit chat small talk. I dont think i'm hitting on them but people have told me that i'm a natural flirt whatever that means.

it's hard for girls to find guys that they can really talk to, so if a girl can open up to you, it's probably a rare experience for her and she wants more. she will think of it as a connection, even though u try to be that way with everyone.

Why are you asking out a woman who has a boyfriend?!? You may think you are just being "friendly", but you're essentially asking her out on a date. Whether or not she loves her boyfriend or is "afraid" of loving him is none of your business. You're trying to turn a stranger into a friend, and it doesn't work like that - you have to move from stranger to acquaintance first, and then slowly build a friendship.
You may honestly know that you have no romantic or sexual intention towards these women - but your actions speak quite differently, and it's understandable how they would be confused.

Maybe u are just the thing we've all been looking for! L.O.L! naw! but maybe u are just what people are looking for in personality. it is a good thing but it a way bad cuz u got a lot of gurls fallin' I guess u should try and focus on what u want so that u won't have to worry about all the falling apples........ Good luck!

your probably a good catch so they fall for you but then again you inviting them to dinner and all makes women think wow he is into me and such. Look if your going to invite a woman to dinner make sure it's with buddies and then they'll get the pic. that your intersted in friendship not relationships and if not that just be straight up in the first place. women are vulnerable and actually very stupid when it comes to love including me... we just want a real man who gets us is all...

You might give off an Aura that they seem to like.... Of maybe its the way you portray youreslf in the conversation..... Just continue being upfront and honest and you will have no reason to feel bad.... They are looking for something youre not!

Because you seem like a nice guy. Women want men with the qualities you have. Consider yourself lucky.
Some woman are afarid of love others are not. it depends on the person.

Woman fall in love easier then men. They may be getting the wrong impression by thinking you want something more then just friendship.

hold on your question above has nothing to do with your question on the bottom anywayz are you sure your'e not absent-mindly flirting or kind of giving them the idea that you want more then friendship because it's hard to tell or know what you doing sometimes.

Maybe you just havent found that person you're looking for. I dont think that women are afraid of love but I think sometimes they are afraid of losing love when they find it.

well, they see that you are kind and honest, they see you as someone that will not break their heart and let them down. Or they have just got out of a bad relationship and dont no what they are doing.
