Hi, I know exactly how you feel!! I have a weight machine that weighs up too 400 pounds and i couldn't get a reading on it which meant i was above 400 pounds at the beginning of last week!! Last Sunday I started writing everything that I ate down and the amount of calories and I started walking a lot and doing some exercises but couldn't seem to exercise more then 15 minutes!! When i stepped on the scale today i was surprised to see that it was actually reading my weight again!! I weighed in at 395!!! I eat about 5-6 times a day so I don't feel hungry and I don't drink anything but water!! I know how hard this is for you but I also know you can loss the weight!! It may take a year or so but I know you can do it!! Good luck!!

Definitely start cutting back your calorie intake. That's always the very first thing to do with a person of your size. Try to eat a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Cut back (at first) on junk food such as pop, candy, potato chips, and sweets, and then completely cut them out as you get more in the groove of your diet. I know it's hard to cut your food intake back when you're used to eating a certain amount of food to feel full, but you must do it! If you need a snack, try something healthy like an apple, celery sticks, or carrot sticks. Depending on how much and how well you can move, start with some light exercises. Even just moving your arms and legs around when you're sitting in a chair is something. Do what you can do as far as exercise goes. Walking is also good exercise. As long as you're exercising for a minimum of 3 days a week for at least 30 minutes along with your calorie cut-back, you should slowly start to see results.

First of all, be patient with yourself. A lot of times people jump into dieting and try to change their eating habits overnight and that never works. You'll shock your body and end up craving more and then go on a binge. I would start slow by replacing the bad things with healthier versions and then slowly cut them out all together. For example Chips, go for the baked all natural. I'm not saying you will loose weight eating chips I'm just suggesting that you need to change your approach and learn about looking at food and labels before you force yourself to eat veggies all day.
You could also try a nutrition plan like Isagenix. My mom lost a lot of weight on that program. It is about health and nutrition not just a diet.
Before you try anything talk to your doctor to see what is best for you.
Remember to be patient and don't give up.
Good Luck!

the first thing I'd say is go to a doctor before you start any heavy exercisng or dieting program. you may have health issues that need to be addressed before you start. After that I'd suggest gettting a notebook or something similar to write down what you eat everyday. Just by lowering the amount of calories you consume you can lose weight, and exercising makes it go even faster. After that, you just have to start exercising. The easiest might be for you to start walking or cycling. They are a lot easier on the joints. I'm on a website called sparkpeople and you might like to join. It offers a lot of support for anyone trying to lose weight and be healthy and you just might like it. it's www.sparkpeople.com and it's free to sign up. best wishes!!

First try visiting the doctor. That would be the very best start because a good nutritionist can work with you to help you get started in a SAFE/HEALTHY way! Try and cut out alot of fatty foods, junk food, sugars. Start with very light exercises daily. Try to get up to jogging every day. Best way to diet is to control your portions, but also watch what you eat. Fast food is a big No-No! Junk food as well. Try alot of calcium such as yogurt, milk, etc. Carbs are good, but not too many.
Good luck and stay healthy.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism) start with as much as you can- you will see that your endurance will increase with every week
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

you could always start by not eating carbs for two straight weeks. don't eat rice, pasta, bread, sweets, and the like and just eat meat, veggies, fruits, fish, chicken, and the like. after two weeks, your cravings will be gone. also, don't forget to exercise with it. walking on your first three days is a good start. as the days progress, you could add more distances and lose more weight. then you could jog, run, sprint, and be fit. :D
