hey im looking to lose 12 pounds ! and i dont know what diet to go on! or what to eat...anyone who has dieted..tell me how much weight you lost and what did you eat and your excerise routine! thanks so much

I used weight watchers and I lost 67 pounds and have kept it off. I walk about 45 minutes 3 times a week. Good Luck!!

I lost over 20 pounds in four weeks and have successfully kept it off on The Abs Diet. It's a common-sense approach to eating and weight loss that doesn't require you to count calories, cut out entire food groups, or completely give up all the foods you love. i have been on different diets since i was 13, i have tried everything - fad diets, starving/depriving myself, pills, patches, wraps, massages etc. and all what i got was more and more weight - untill you get to the point you understand you need major lifestyle changes - change eating habits and learn how and what to do in the gym (exercise)
i have lost about 40lbs and although im have been in a cast for more than 6 months already im in the best shape ever
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

best way to lose 12lbs is to not count calories but start doing 1 hour of cardio a day (jogging, bike e.t.c) while eating cleanly and healthy foods, lean protein, complex carbs, and lots of veggies.

in about 2 months it will go.
