For the wages of sin is death. So God sent Jesus and Jesus died and raised again... you probably know the story already. But if you don't have Jesus blood you will die because of the fact that in the law (old testament) that is what it says... you know the 10 commandments. right? you violate the law you die. God is just, once His commandment goes out that is that He doesn't go back on His word. So When He sent Jesus He made a new covenant or shall I say a new "law" that if you are covered in Jesus blood then you are not bound by the old law but instead under the new covenant of love and grace and mercy.

Would a human father not punish his child for doing what he said not to do? if the stove is hot and the childs father says don't touch that, and the child persist, after a while, the father just lets him so he will learn his lesson, right? is this not the same thing, you had a chance to come to know and seek God, yet you refused to do so so your punished.

1) God is indeed like a father. He loves us all with a love that we cannot humanly comprehend.
2) Knowing #1, its easy to see that sin is a choice made by us, not by God, and thus, it's us who send ourselves to hell.
3) Valid reasons for not believenign in God's existence?, I think you have it backwards... there are millions of valid reasons for believing in his existence. You just have to believe and look around you.
4) Many human fathers can be cruel and insensitive. Anything human will eventually show flaws.

Hey... how are you? well, to answer your question, God does NOT send people to hell. Actually, He did the opposite. He sent his own son (think about sending your only child) down into the evil, sinful world, to die in one of the most hrrific forms of death out there, all to be the sacrificefor ever one of our sins. The reason people go to hell is because they don't accept this free gift. If you just accept and believe it, and love God with all your heart, you can be sure of a home in heaven. So, you see? God doesn't send people to hell, people send themselves to hell.

For the wages of sin is Death. Not for the wages of sin is burning in Hell forever. All you need is a concordance to do a bible study. Words like, consumed, destroyed, eternal punishment not punishing. The Bible states that death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. Hell is actually referring to the grave and a type of fire pit outside the walls of Israel used to burn waste. Sodom was burned with an eternal fire, it's not still burning today. You need to do a study from Genesis to Revelation on the subject to get a complete understanding.

God sends no one to hell. People send themselves to hell.

Are you a parent?

I am, and as a Father I know that there are things I can teach my son and there are choices that he must make on his own.

God allows us the privilege of making a choice. And sadly for some that choice is the wrong one.

Yes, this is hard to understand—but the Bible is clear: God loves us with a love that is far greater than human love—but He is also a God who judges sin and evil with perfect justice. Both are true.

Have you ever asked yourself what the world would be like if God were only a God of love, who never judged evil or tried to stop it? If He were only a God of love, then evil men could carry out their plans without fear, because they would never have to worry that God would judge them or try to stop them. Hitler and Stalin would be just as welcome in heaven as Mother Teresa.

Or have you ever asked yourself what the world would be like if God were only a God of judgment, who punished us every time we did wrong? If God were like that, none of us would ever have a chance, for we sin every day. We would have no hope of a happy life right now, or of heaven either. But God is not like that! The Bible says, "The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and rich in love" (Psalm 145:8).

If you are a parent, you love your children—but at times you know you also need to discipline them. In a far greater way, God loves us—but He also disciplines us when we need it. If you have never done so, turn to Christ and commit your life to Him. He is the proof that God loves us—for He took the judgment we deserve.

God does not send his kids to hell. Jews do not go to hell. Only step kids can be abdonded by a father, and only Christians, who adopted the Jewish god, can be abandoned to hell. Poor kids.

Well God is not human, and not like a human father.
And we are not to say what is valid in God's realm or not.
See, we don't know everything, but we have been given a great deal of information and we need to utilize it.

There is only one way to go to hell for sure and that wont come until we face the anti-christ. There is only one going to hell for sure right now and that *is* the anti-christ. God loves and forgives. Why does everyone think they are going to hell over small stupid shitt? All you have to do is ask for forgiveness and its wiped off your record. How hard can that be? Why does everyone think we're all going to hell???? Thats crazy!
