Lactaid Milk.

I agree with soy milk. Even when I was still drinking cow's milk I liked the taste of Silk and the Kroger brand (Naturally Preferred which is a dollar cheaper than Silk) because it was sweeter. The Silk chocolate is very good. I don't drink 8th Continent soy, though, becasue I think they soybeans are gentically modified and it's definately not certified organic as Silk and Naturally Preferred are.

There is also rice and almond milk, but they dont have the nutrients as what soy does.

It takes a little getting used to but Silk Vanilla is really good. It is a soy milk. Can't hurt to try it. I also hear there are other lactose free milks. I would try going to a Kroger Signature Store or a Whole Foods because their selection of alternative and organic foods is larger.

There are several lactose free milk substitutes. They taste like crap...but there are some available.

But try eating apples instead of the cookies and cake.

There are many different kinds of milk. You can choose:
Oat milk, soymilk, almond milk, rice milk, horchata rice milk, hazelnut milk...those are the basic ones. All they are (lets take soy milk for example...soy and water. When you soak the soy beans and blend them in a blender, it gets all whiteish like milk. When you strain it to remove left over whatever, youre left with the milk, and it's really good. I made my own almond milk a few weeks ago, and it was tasty.

This is what I think:
Soymilk---good with coffee, maybe cookies and cake

oatmilk---good with protein shakes, delicious by it self, horrible with coffee

almond milk- great with cereals (maybe your cakes too)

rice milk---good witjh protein shakes and ok with coffee and pretty good with cereal.

horchata rice milk (that is rice milk and cinnamin)-excellent with cereal...you wont know the difference and it's great by itself.

hazelnut milk---Not sure, never tried it..may be good.

You can find most of these in the grocery store...in traditional grocery stores you may just kind basic ones like: soy, almond, and rice.

Specilty stores will have the oat, horchata rice, hazelnut ones.

and, oat milk is so delicious, the best, it's amazing.

You could try soy milk, I've heard that it tastes very similar to milk but contains no dairy.
