after 3 years there is nothing to do except fix it or don't. next time have a mechanic inspect the used car you intend to buy. may cost a few dollars but in the long run it saves lot of headaches

Unfortunately, you are not in a good situation. You paid and borrowed money for a car. The responsibility to see that it was worth the money was yours. Unfortunately, you still owe the money regardless. Your only hope is that the purchase included a warranty that is still in effect. If this were a used car, I would doubt that this is the case.
The real problem is that you are upside down on your loan, maybe. Is the car worth $5,000? If you can sell it for this much, you are OK.

Jess: It does not topic as so much whilst phrases get minced besides that phrases can many times harm greater than the act of violence itself. But whilst the act of violence does are available in to play, it will get dangerous on such a lot of exceptional stages. In all my revel in I have found out one cast factor. Once the act does are available in to play, it does not ever (probably hardly ever) get any higher. In truth it best escalates from there. Before you realize it you're within the emergency room with him seeking to inform a physician who already has a sexy well inspiration that he has layed arms on you that it was once simply an coincidence and he might on no account. But your guts will inform you over the years that the physician is aware of complete good it was once no coincidence and even though you stated whatever that set him off, he has and had NO proper whatever doing what he is performed to you. If matters are that dangerous, it is time to stroll away even though it is empty passed.

if you bought the car with no warranty than you'll have to pay the $5,000. Or have it repossessed had then you'll have bad credit for 7 years. You might be able to sell it to make up for some of the bill.

If the car cost to much to repair and the car lot refuses to do it for free your out another 5 grand and a car. If its buy here pay here and they dont put it on your credit give it back to them. I did. If not you just need to see if its going to be worth fixing or not depending on how much you can afford to fix it. Sorry to here that it happens all the time.

first it depend of what kind of car you have. however you can replace it by other car, it doesn't have to be first hand but all i can say is just get rid of it a.s.a.p. because if you keep it with you it will lose more from it price by time
look if you sell it now, lets say you will get 10,000$ after 6 months it will lose about 300$ after 1 year it will lose about 700$ from it original price not only because it's getting older but because you are also spending money to fix it.
now even if you did not pay all it price you replace it.
good luck
and buy a B.M.W that's my advice to you

if you owe 5000 you screwed. I'd either see a mechanic about getting it fixed or buy another car and continue to pay on this one. good luck
