Okay, so Kernow is a Celtic country, most of which is owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, the boss of which is the Duke of Cornwall and Prince of Wales.
Sorry, but there's no cop out. The smoke ban applies across England and for legal purposes this includes Kernow.
One thing you can do, provided your are Cornish born and bred, is start digging for tin in your back yard right now. No one can stop you, it's your legal right. You've got the Stannary Courts to back you up.
Pysk, stan ha cobber.
Oh yeah! if you ever wondered where the Oz expression "good on yuh cobber" came from, look no further than Cornwall. Cobber is the Cornish for copper. In Oz there are still a few mines with the word Wheal in front of the name, which is of course the Cornish word for a mine - eg., Wheal Grace of "Poldark" fame.

Cornwall ..........Who owns it ? I know its the Duchy of Cornwall & Prince Charles is the Duke of Cornwall but he doesnt own it although I seem to recall something about him reciving money from the Duchy.
However the answer to your question about smoking it is banned from all work places throughout England from July 1rst. that would I assume include Cornwall.
might as well stub that cig & become non smoker

Going of what the adverts tell us and the Anti-smoking website , I think they could technically class cornwall as your place of work as Charley owns it.
If thats the case it looks like Cornwall with be smoke free

I presume you mean because it is owned by the Duchey of Cornwall....There was a rumour that Royal Palaces would be exempt from the ban...(Westminster Parliament is a royal palace and so MP's may be exempt) don't think that would extend to the whole of Cornwall though.

If smoking is allowed in Cornwall, I'll move there, as it will be the last bit of the UK to show any sense! Mark you, in view of the hoohah that the Cornish are displaying about Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver's restaurants, I'll ask permission from their parliament (Stannard?) before I start selling my fusion cooking therein.

Smoking ban? You mean the UK has become that stupid? I'm going to very seriously rethink my vacation to the UK. I had hopes of visiting London, Sherwood and Derby. If they can't accommodate me on my vacation then I'm going to go where I can smoke.
