Darth Cheney: yep, that's what I mean, give in as in just say "oh f--- it, alright, yaygod whatever" just to not have the entire world against you.

What do you mean by "give in"? Do you mean, become religious? That's not a choice for me.
Do you mean, "give up the fight"? I know I couldn't just let others walk over me. There's always repression somewhere.I'd be the last atheist, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't stop fighting for my rights and others' rights. This atheist would ally himself with others who have the same principles as he does.

lol, what does being the last atheist have to do with whether or not we give in. If religious people murdered us, I would be a closet atheist, if they didnt, still be a closet athiest, because it is probably still frowned upon, if i was the last person and athiest on earth, all the more reason to belive in no god.

gee, i suppose i'd believe then. because what i believe is only based on what everyone else believes. like right now i believe 2+2=4. however if all the world started believing that it was five or six, that would make me question what i already know to be true. so naturally, i'd have to believe a lie in order to be happy, or just pretend to believe it...

You make it sound as if atheists have a choice in the matter; when in fact, the lack of evidence for your god COMPELS us to refute your bible.
You also make it sound as if popular opinion makes something factual.
Just remember: there WAS a time when EVERYbody thought the world was flat, and that our world was the center of the universe -- but that didn't mean it was so.

Soleil Noir: Lack of evidence doesnt drive people to do anything. People deny God based on what is in their hearts, not what is not in their minds.
And keep dreaming. Unbelievers have been trying to refute and discredit the Bible for centuries to no avail.

Unlike many religions, atheist do not need the acceptance of other people to validate their beliefs.

I don't care what other people think. I have found no reason to believe in god, so I stand my ground.

Really - the # of people around (or lack) who do (or do not) agree with me has no impact on my religious beliefs. Its like asking if you were the last Christian on earth...

I would stand my ground unless and until i receive evidence that God is real. Personal faith is demonstrably unreliable, and 6,499,999,999 people having faith will not change that.
