and once his little sister said to me that he's king and i'm queen.
don't children understand more?
and you can all guess that kings and queens are married.

Wow, haven't heard the "fancies you" terminology in ages. Olde English at its finest...
Anyway, does he smile at you? Have you caught him staring at you and does he intuitively look away when you notice? If you start a conversation with him, does he seem genuinely interested in talking with you? Does he seem to desire to impress you? Does he stutter a bit or seem nervous?
Those would all be good signs.

I would imagine a boy this age would act quite clumsy and giggly around a girl he likes. All those hormones,it must be tough.

He hangs out with you and talks to you, even when his friends are about. When you see him around school or the shops he notices you and speaks to you before you speak to him.
