Follow me on this. Intelligent design says that certain natural phenomenon, especially those that can not yet be proven through the scientific method, are caused by a higher, intelligent power. So, a few hundered years ago, people would not have had the data to understand and harness the power of electricity and therefore weather and lightning were made from God's hands. There would have been teachings in school to stop using the scientific method to test theories, alter variables, and provide evidence. The teachings would have said "electricity can not be explained by scientific evidence, therefore god shoots it out of his pinky." If people believed in this, they would have given up on electricity. We would have not had electricity today nor would we have the benefits that have come from it.

You committed the errors that atheists just about all techniques do. As information, you cutting-edge information that has no longer something to do with the question. The universe is nice-tuned for existence to be available. this is noted as the Anthropic concept. There are over one hundred constants that could desire to nice tuned or the universe does not exist. This shows layout. as an occasion, if the universe had multiplied at a value one millionth extra slowly than it did, enlargement might have stopped and the universe might have collapsed on itself in the previous any stars had formed. If it had multiplied swifter, then no galaxies might have formed. The e book "The writer and the Cosmos" via Hugh Ross checklist hundreds of alternative nice-tunings that could desire to be in simple terms appropriate or there may be no existence everywhere interior the universe. all and sundry of those nice-tunings of something as great as a results of fact the universe factors to clever layout.

You are correct, they didn't UNDERSTAND the data of electricity...so what your saying is that because someone found out about it, That it wasn't there all along?

I don't think you understand what ID is saying....

It's a Natural Phenomenon that electricity even EXISTS...and that someone was smart enough to discover it...

But it was there all along...

Sure! as if generators were not made by intelligent men! It is the unintelligent proponents of random blind moronic evolution that ought to be banned from that.

You sound yourself as if you were last in a certain row when brains were given out.

why does the belief in a force of intelligent design
equate to a belief of god in your mind
or to ignorance of technology?
i dont believe in god
but the universe is obviously intelligently designed

That's part of why intelligent design is utterly useless as a 'scientific' theory.

They should be able to CHOOSE whatever lifestyle they want for themselves.

But they should never be allowed a position of authority where they'd be able to cram their delusions down the throats of children who may not be able to tell bullsh!t when they hear it....
