All things were made by Him (see John 1:3), including dinosaurs. Why then did the dinosaur disappear? The answer may be in Job 40:15–24. In this passage, God speaks about a great creature called "behemoth." Some commentators think this was a hippopotamus. However, the hippo’s tail isn’t like a large tree, but a small twig. Following are the characteristics of this huge animal: It was the largest of all the creatures God made; was plant-eating (herbivorous); had its strength in its hips and a tail like a large tree. It had very strong bones, lived among the trees, drank massive amounts of water, and was not disturbed by a raging river. He appears impervious to attack because his nose could pierce through snares, but Scripture says, "He that made him can make his sword to approach unto him." In other words, God caused this, the largest of all the creatures He had made, to become extinct.

Behemoth was probably a 'dinosaur' as you seemed to realize. The events of Job apparently occurred after the Flood, as Job was son of Isaachar, his 'consoler' Eliphaz was son of Esau; probably around the end of Genesis to very early Exodus. The scriptures also talk about the unicorn (Psalms or Proverbs); why they are apparentlyextinct today, I do not currently know.

for the sake of argument, let's say you're right. you've pointed out one mention of a dinosaur in the bible, and it's a stretch at that. how many dinosaurs were there? was there just one? i can think of several animals that are alive today that could be classified as being a behemoth. or it could just be some made up animal. even in greek mythology they mention animals that fit the description of dinosaurs. does that mean the greeks were right?

Soooooooooo they called all dinosaurs "behemoth".

Maybe behemoth was the name of his horse like dinosaur as displayed in the creation muesum.

Ok so if that's the only mention of a "dino" and it's just "plant eating" where did t-rex come from? Or is that another devil planted fossil?

Behemoth was not a dinosaur. The text says that he had a navel. Dinosaurs did not have navels, as they laid eggs. Behemoth, if talking about a literal creature, was placental mammal.

Even if that did refer to A dinosaur, at best you can only claim for there to be One dinosaur in the bible.

What about the other 10,000 species of dinosaur.

No they are not, because people of biblical times were completely unaware of the existence of extinct giant reptiles. On the few occasions when a giant bone was accidentally discovered, they attributed it to an extinct race of giant humans, not reptiles.

As a matter of fact, it most likely became extinct as a direct result of the Great Flood.
