Yes, it's normal. It sounds like it's healing fine, and it will eventually close up. I've had all of mine taken out, one at a time. Some were worse than others, but they all healed fine and closed up eventually. It just takes time and good hygene. It's nothing to worry about amigo.

The holes will take at least 2 months to heal. It's been a little over a month for me. Four taken out. The holes are a little more than half way closed. I continue to rinse after every meal to get the food out and prevent infection. Good luck! =)

I had the 2 on top pulled a few years ago because I had severe migraines being they were also horizontal. The doctor used little thread for the stitches and they fell out on their own. I would contact him, after a week the wound is usually closed.

The dentist should give you a syringe type tool so that you can spray water into the opening to remove anything that gets stuck in it. Tell your dentist to give you one. They work great. The hole will close up over a short period of time.

totally normal, I had all 4 of mine pulled and I had the same problem... The dentist should have given you something to squirt the food out and if he didn't you can buy one at Walgreens. It took about a month for the holes to close up and heal.

Always ask the doctor.
I got mine out a year ago and I still have gum holes, but they closed up to the point where I don't have to clean them separately after a few months.

I had all four taken out at once. Looked like a chipmunk for awhile.LOL But yes, it will eventually heal over just make sure you continue to keep it clean. It was so long ago though that I can't remember how long it took to heal over.

It's natural. The hole will heal, not immediately, it may take up to a year or even two, but it will close. Meanwhile, you are doing the right thing to keep it clean.

had four taken out and yes I had to rinse with salt water for a long time because of stuck food. Even had to dig at it with a tooth pick a time or two but It eventually closed and all is good now.
