Actually the proper way to say it is "In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost (Spirit)".
The name is Abba, Father, that is why when written it is in small letters, the word "name" that is. In other words what ever you are blessing, praying for, etc... is done for the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
God has many names, but the most used int he New Testament by Christ himself is Abba.
God bless and have a great day.

This verse is not dealing with any personal name. "In the name of" is an expression that means "in recognition of."

At Matthew 28:19 reference is made to “the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit.” A “name” can mean something other than a personal name. When, in English, we say, “in the name of the law,” or “in the name of common sense,” we have no reference to a person as such. By “name” in these expressions we mean ‘what the law stands for or its authority’ and ‘what common sense represents or calls for. Thus, while some translations (KJ, AS) follow the Greek text at Matthew 10:41 literally and say that the one that “receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man’s reward,” more modern translations say, “receives a prophet because he is a prophet” and “receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man,” or similar. (RS, AT, JB, NW)

So those woh would be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit had to recognize what role each played in salvation.

Psalms 83:18 says, " You JEHOVAH are the Most High God."

The Son has many names and titles. The four Gospels give his personal earthly name as Jesus.

The Holy Ghost is not a person at all but God's power or force. The richest and most powerful man in a small town has influence you can almost feel even when he is not physically there. Jehovah, as the Almighty, will or force can actually be felt, as in moving things according to his will.

the 'name' is God.

The term "God the Father" and refers to God Himself.

"Son of God" refers to God as manifested in the flesh in the person of Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind. The name of the Son is Jesus

The Holy Spirit is simply God. God is holy. In fact, He alone is holy in Himself. God is also a Spirit and there is only one Spirit of God. Therefore, "Holy Spirit" is another term for the one God.

There are many names in the Bible for those entities... the most common is "I AM".

Collectively they're called the Trinity.
