It's even more pathetic when you check your answers 1 day later to see how many thumbs up you got.

If that's true I'm surely pathetic. I get a little too excited when I see that "Wow You Got 10 Points!" pop up. Is it bad that it makes my day? Must be a sure sign of Yahoo! Answers Addiction...I need help.

I'd be setting myself up for disappointment if I needed to see a lot of best answers. I recently had about 6 weeks that were best-answer free!

you're in the wrong bit the only way to get best answer in the religion section is to say what the asker has already decided is the right answer.
swap to psychology or philosphy if you want to up your percentage.

nah I'm always on here, i work in IT so I'm allowed. well I've done all the server optimization and turning computers off and on again that i need to do, so its only if i get a call 'my computer won't come on' 9 times out of 10 it needs to switched on, 'have you switched it on' 'yes' i get over there the thing isn't even plugged in, gets me so mad cuz i know they havn't bothered, don't lie to the IT guy he knows

i think they should give a star for worst answer too
alot of the questions dont even deserve a serious answer

i drop in and check it every once in a while - i get quite a few
(sad that im answering so many questions)
