To those with a scientific education, its a joke. To those home schooled, fundamentalist, ignorant people, its a serious answer to evolution. After all, we can't have them actually getting facts, now, can we

Honora, the difficulty with a introduction museum is that it supplies human beings fake suggestions and 'information'. An Evolutionary museum is committed to medical truths, truths that are so with the aid of fact of mountains of information compiled interior the choose of evolution.

It is serious... sad to say.
They are promoting false science as truth. It is very scary, it is very splashy, and there is no way for a unlearned person or child going in there, would not be affected by this.
I can just hear children arguing with their teacher's now.
But Ms. the museum I went to, says :
the world is only 6000 years old...
Grand Canyon was created by a flood
The ice ages only happened after Noah's flood about 4000 yrs ago
etc
etc
You get my point

I have often heard the science is a religion and now that I see this question in the Religion and Spirituality section I have proof of such. I have so little faith in people who have to go to college longer than the average guy to proof things to themselves that other people have made up. Creation is how the world and all things physical were made. Since other theories need billions of years to work, then it will take another billion years to prove you hogwash. I new before I went to kindergarten how the world was made and that is more than adequate for me. I think it is a huge waste of time to contemplate where we came from when it is too late to do anything about it now. If people came from animals then what do you have to worry about--your offspring will be higher up the food chain than you and leave you rotting to fend for yourselves--it is survival of the fittest---like all baby animals fend for themselves. We all need others to live, usually survival is of the smartest--the fastest deer gets hit, the smartest one stays off the road!

It's real and it's practically down the street from me! Ok.. it's about 45 minutes away but I kind of want to go for laughs. Some scientists reviewed the museum and they said it gets an "A" for effort (as far as decor, displays, etc.) but an "F" for being scientifically accurate.
I'm AFRAID to go though.. I don't want to make eye contact with any of the smiling, delusional crazies. LOL!!

Unfortunately, it's real.

LOL. It's serious to them, but a joke to the rest of the world.
But you know, I'm behind them 100%. In fact, I hope crazy religious freaks just keep getting crazier and crazier. There's got to be a tipping point somewhere, after which people in general will realize that this insanity has to stop.

If you believe in creation, it's serious. Most Christians accept a compromise between science and creation or do not believe one excludes the other. Your talking about 20% of Christians that are hard lined so relax. Their entitled to their beliefs.

Unfortunatley, it is both. It is one mans vision of what the earth is like, after reading the Bible. I personally feel that he doesn't take into account, that nobody knows how long one of God's day's is.
