Seriously, does anyone come to this particular forum in search of answers? I know I don't. It's kinda' fun to vent at each other though isn't it. :) LOL! It's kinda' funny to think that none of us know who the other people are... I mean, you and I could be working together tomorrow and we'd never know... anyway, it's fun.

I think there are people with real questions. There are people who give real answers. Sincere answers. Then, there are those who just don't take any of it seriously

I don't know you, but I can feel your type.
You are under 22, live with your parents (probably just one).
You work at a job that isn't exactly where you want to be, but they don't push you to succeed or work too hard. You don't have a portfolio, you have a small savings account. You don't have a checking account, you ask mom to write checks out for you.
You don't have a steady girlfriend, but you associate with single people who will spend time with you when they aren't on a date. Your friends sit around with you poking fun at other people who are established, married and/or successful. You probably smoke, drink coffee, eat greasy food and use profanity for no apparent reason.
You don't beleive in God, because you are a bit self-centered and insist that you are strong enough and smart enough to live your life without Him. You get angry and defensive when someone approaches you about Jesus and HIs promise of salvation.
Last of all, you think that interrupting someone in a louder voice and a sarcastic tone proves that you are in the right and know what you are doing...

I've been posting on forums and such ever since I first had access to the Internet. I love hearing people's points of views that I wouldn't hear if I just talked to people in my immediate contact.
Also, you're right about how we don't really know each other. I say I'm a 24 year old female Christian who enjoys religious discourse but for all you know I could be a 40 year old man in his mother's basement who gets his jollies arguing with atheists.
Judge for yourself. :)

I know Corduroy Magician personally, (she's me bestest bud) but other than that I dont know anyone. I use this forum as a way to vent, or a way to help others depending on my mood. Sometimes (such as yesterday with the Zombie hordes) I use it as a forum for complete silliness... Basicly dont act very different here than I do in the world.

I want to share the Truth I know.
I am also curious to know what questions people have, so I can think about that when I read the Bible.

Some people do take this stuff waaaayyyy too seriously. I get lots of hate mail calling me a demon etc. Most are pretty funny but they can be scary too.

I think people are here for all sorts of reasons. Some come to just joke around, others come to torment the people who are here for serious reasons or torment them because they have a different viewpoint. Some really want answers, some really have answers. You can get anything you want here. Some come to get attention like Karl did yesterday and man, he hit the motherload.

Yeah but unfortunately you can't vent to much. You get reported by overly sensitive people who could have you lose your yahoo account all together. Sad really. But fun and addictive.

I think it's interesting to hear other people's opinions but I would never change my mind about something serious like beliefs based on what some Joe Schmo wrote on the Internet. Anyone who does really needs to reevaluate their life.
