the jews said their is to be a messiah and the christians accepted jesus as the messiah than the christians are the jews who accepted that the messiah has already arrived. In that case it could be either the christians or the non-christ believing jews who are the chosen people! So who are the chosen people?

The Jews are still the chosen people. Because of there rebellion their eyes are blinded to the truth that Jesus is their Messiah. God still has a purpose and a plan for the Jews. That will never change.

Rom 2: 28, 29 point out that a jew today is not a fleshly one, but the one who accepts Christ.

The Christian Congregation is now the chosen race of the jews.

This agrees with Peter when he said Christians are the chosen race, a royal priesthood.

The Jewish people are the chosen ones I think mostly because Jesus was of jewish ancestory. They were the chosen ones because they would be "related" to the Messiah

"Chosen people" simlpy means that everyone has a potential to be successful and happy. "the Jews" in the Bible are a prototype of all who seek liberation and home land wheather itd be spiritual or material...which are ultimately not two.
