I ask this because I'm having a major surgery next week, but I cannot take asprin (except for tylenol) But I am having really bad cramps and the only way it helps is if I take midol.. please help, thanks

The ladies who answered are correct....no aspirin. In the future to save yourself some time and suffering simply read the box or container holding the medicine and it will provide you a list of all the ingredients.

Midol does not contain aspirin. There are different formulations (types) of Midol that contain different ingredients but none of them are aspirin. My recommendation for cramps? Naproxyn sodium (Aleve) was originally intended for cramps; it was once a prescription-only drug and doctors called it "the magic blue pill". Maximum Strength Midol does contain naproxyn sodium.

No midol is not an aspiren. It contains tylenol,caffien and a medicine that takes away fluid. That for the bloating. So go ahead and take the midol, it wont hurt you.

My best advice is to drink lots of gatorade the day after, (just a folk remedy don't know what the proof behind it is), and eat bread before you go out and get hammered. The bread absorbs allot of the alcohol.
