Can a baby of 2 years understand the Mathematics of an Engineer or can it understand how the Titanic ship was designed.
Likewise human beings are also not sufficiently wise enough to understand the Science maintained by God.But, Bible is the real Science and God is the real Scientist.Being ignorants and immatured ,we human beings just reject God.
I will tell one example:-
-------------------------------
Computer is a most wonderful instrument.
Can it evolve from any thing automatically without a brain behind. Never.
Human body is many Million times more wonderful than the Computers we use.
Such a wonderful Instrument or Machnism ( the human body ) can never be designed automatically without a Super Brain behind.
Whoever wants to know the Power and Wisdom of God can just look in to the Design ,Machanism and the Function of the human body and praise God with awe and fear for His wonderful Creation.
What the Bible says is the ( True) Science
just unknown to the so - called scientists.
Bible tries to change the world in to a Peaceful paradise.
But the world under the leadership and guidance of the so-called scientists has preferred the way of destruction.
Had we followed the Science ( Moral) mentioned in the Bible, there would have never been the deadly Epidemic called AIDS.
We violated the Law( Moral) of the Bible and are caught with the horrorsome Epdemic.
The more we neglect the Law of God ,the more we go near Destruction.
Now the whole world's income is devoured by the Epidemic called AIDS.
Bible is the real Science
and God is the real Scientist.
Violating God's Law means Plunging in to peafcelessness.
With God the world will be a Paradise .
Without God the world will be a hell only, with all pains and sufferings.
With Love ,

Science can't explain everything. Religion can't explain anything. If you want to be scientific, you have to be able to admit that you just don't know. There will always be something we don't know. And there is nothing wrong with admitting that. Pretending you do know when you don't makes you a douchebag. You are correct we don't know (yet) what caused the big bang. There are some ideas bouncing around like string theory but they are still theoretical and complicated as hell so I won't even try to explain it. The point is postulating a god explains nothing at all. What is a god? He is (if such things exist) a supernatural being. Magic, by definition. Literally "abracadabra". So when some religious person says "Science doesn't know where the universe came from, therefore it was created God" what they are saying is that rather than admit we don't know and look for a real answer, let's just assume some wizard created using a magic spell. Wtf?

Truth is how things really are—not how things are theorized to be, or speculated upon based on observation. Science and religion are not truths. These are human cognitive abstractions that help a free-willed thinker find some balance in an existence where they are unsure (live by faith) of themselves. Well can it be said: Religion and Science are fools’ attempts to prove to everyone else that they are not foolish.
The knowledge of technology has given great power to the people of the earth. The advancements in all areas of life have attained unimaginable levels. But even though humans seem to have advanced and have the power to create the perfect society, there is less love, less respect, less forgiveness, and less tolerance in the modern world than at any other time in history.
For thousands of years, the greatest minds on earth could not decipher the mysteries and riddles of scientific observations, which were necessary to control the powers of nature for the benefit of mortal man. The secrets of kinetic energy, theorized and speculated on by the great minds of science, were kept hidden away.
Unable toutilize what they understood, the world advanced very little from the timeof the Ancient Egyptians until the time of the isolated colonies of theAmerican pilgrims. The extraordinary power of electricity was kept hidden from the very foundations of the world so that humankind would not discover its potential and use it inappropriately.
The ancient prophets knew of this great power, yet none of them mentioned it to his contemporaries, guarding this incredible mystery that is a small, but important portion of the power of a God. They knew that when the earth was approaching its last days of exercising universal free agency and democracy, it would be safe to allow "the devil to have power over his own dominion;" thus permitting the use of this knowledge (“fire”) so “he” could experience the effects of this power when used improperly.
These quotes came from the book explaining all of Revelation.

The problem is if you read the Bible literally, the world and the whole universe were created only 6,000 years ago and we know that is not true. 1) There are literally tons of fossils that can be carbon dated to before then and other dating methods can date fossils much farther back. 2) Light from stars much farther away than 6,000 light years can be seen not just with a telescope, but even on a clear night. Believe it or not, I look at the Bible as a scientific book. It was an attempt to explain the universe and God was the active agent. Look at how much was attributed to God--earthquakes, floods, disease, fires...and now we have scientific explanations of how all these things happen. The Bible never even contemplated the existence of germs. It was a nice try, a really good effort, but the real universe is so much more vast, grand, glorious as well as infinitely large and infinitely small...than the Bible contemplated. So there may easily be a Creator, but the Bible simply falls short of describing Him accurately.

If you look hard enough and want it badly enough, you can see anything in anything. Don't you think that perhaps, if the "medical science" you state about blood clotting were true, and I'd like a reference link please, that maybe it was decided to circumcise a baby on the "8th day" because the ancient people found over time that they lost less newborns to blood loss on that day, as opposed to perhaps the 5th or 10th day?
I'd also like to know where you get your info for the "many scientists" who believe it was designed. Please provide a link. Are these scientists already christian? Most likely they are, therefore their point of view is pretty biased.
You cannot make these statements without giving us something to back them up. Until you do, then it's no different than claiming the sky is purple.

2. How recently has medical science figured this out? Could you tell me where you read this and/or provide a link if its on the web?
And what reasons does the Bible give that a baby should be circumcised on the 8th day? Is this old or new testament?
And were people circumsizing babies before the baby said to? If so, then how many days and why?
But in the end, nobody knows for certain in a god of any sort exists. People who say they know for sure are just believing strongly in their faith. Their faith could be very well misplaced or it might not. Only way to find out is to die, and I don't believe many people want to find out the definitive answer THAT badly.

Take Physics 101 before you even try to ask this question.
The big bang was never an explosion if you even read it up, it was a dramatic expansion.
Any reference to design is called creationism, not even worthy to pseudo-science (at least they have demonstrations, no doubt fake)
Power in science is entirely different from the way you say it, in science it for measuring the rate of energy.
Is it too much to ask people to get an education before they spew rubbish???

If you know anything about quantum phyysics, then Ill save you the trouble of trying to explain it, but quantum physics does allow for a general consciousness which inhabits everything, not just living things either, the idea of a individual humanised god, is an absurd one , think about it, to be omnipresent you cannot be individual.

I stopped quoting this for fear of boring people, but here I go again:
Einstein said this: "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."
There is no reason why faith in God and science can't go together. In fact, I think that science points us to God.
BTW, I wonder how Jan thought a 'dramatic expansion', the release of so much energy, can happen without sending out a bright light!
Thanks for your info. It was lovely to read something else than disparaging remarks about the Bible.
