Something with the combination of fats and carbs. You want to keep it light obviously. toast with butter, oatmeal with butter mac and cheese. what ever you choose do it at least an hour before the workout. I would recomend 1 1/2 hrs. the carbs will give you the immediate energy while the fats will give you more of a sustained energy and youll burn them all off during the workout.

Pity you don't eat fruit, as the most efficient fuel for the body is sugar, of a natural sort, such as fruit. Body uses a lot of glycogen in physical activity. Body also uses protein to build muscle, so you need protein also.
Best thing to have is a smoothie with a high quality protein powder and organic yogurt before a workout involving cardio and weight training. Use honey instead of sugar for sweetening. It's ideal to add fruit such as a bananna and strawberries to this mixture, but you don't eat fruit, so that's out. If you don't eat yogurt, you can use a similar product made from soy (make sure it's organic). If you use milk in a smoothie, also ensure it's organic. If you don't use dairy products, you'll have to use rice milk, soy milk, or almond milk instead of the yogurt.
***Protein powder should not have any flavour. Add your own, unless you want cancer from artificial sweeteners. *** Sucrolose especially is bad news, causes breast cysts in many women, and changes to the testes in many men, a sign of body cells getting scrambled right down to your reproductive capacity!
You should have something no more than 1 hour before the workout, and even up to 2 hours before the workout, depending on your metabolism. If you feel too full before working out it will impede your movement and performance. You will have to experiment a bit, start at 1 1/2 hours before the workout, and see how much time your body requires to digest. (that's where most of my students/trainees are at.)
After your workout, you should consume some sort of protein, if you have time eat a second breakfast with some eggs, tomatoes, and a whole grain toast. If you are on the run, eat a good quality protein bar, or nut/seed bar to feed the cells the protein needed for growth.

I ate a sandwich of crunchy peanut butter and banana on whole wheat toast with a side of applesauce washed down with a glass of O.J. about 7:00am this morning for a 10:00am workout.
I will drink a 16oz Powerade while at the gym.
When I get home I will have a mix of 1/2 O.J. and 1/2 water with a pinch of salt to stay hydrated.
After approx. 1hr, I will have a lunch of seafood and a salad and repeat the same for dinner.

For an intense workout at 8:00 AM, you better finish eating by 5:30 AM, 5:00 AM better. Othewise, build in a vomit break.
A small meal, balanced is best. Include a big glass of water or juice.
Start eating fruit. Best thing there is for your insides, especially blood vessel health.

he metabolic powers particular foods have to make your body burn a lot more body fat.” It is a way of rating foods, based on “how numerous calories your physique is going to burn just breaking down the nutrients each time you consume a particular food.”
Therefore, you are not alone in this battle.
