How do you ask a girl out to an impersonal gathering, (i.e. going to a fast food place when getting off work early, hanging with friends) when they already have a boyfriend.
When asking, how do you say it when the boyfriend is right there, so he doesn't beat the crud outta you?

If you mean it as a date you definitely need to wait until the boyfriend is out of earshot. If you just mean it as a friendly gathering, invite both of them along.

Um don't ask girls out that have boyfriends. Unless your just being a friend then invite both of them. Say hey there "betsy", "Roy" do you guys have plans later? B/c a bunch of us are going to "Wendys" if you would like to come. If he can't go doesn't mean she can't, and then he won't feel threatened and kick your a** b/c you invited him also.

thats hard, but just ask her if she wants to hang out with you someday when you get off work, and if she likes you she will get the hint, the guy will prolly npot actually beat you up he will just yell, most guys like that are very insecure about their relationships, don't be scared take the plunge!

Just ask as a friend. If you give off the vibe that you asking as more then a friend, and she's already with someone, then it might make it weird. Just don't hit on her I guess.

You could also invite the boyfriend with.

step 2- dont hesetate
step 3- ask if she wants to get something to eat or drink.
step 4- after step 3 ask here out

Ask them both: 'Hey guys, what are you up to? Want to go get a bite to eat?'
Or are you hoping to take her from him?
If so - don't ask at all.
You'll just look like a ****.

well if you're just friends, you should be able to ask anything... you're obviously not trying to impress her, so it shouldnt be hard to ask.
