Yes, apparently so, we are all gods, children of the most high
God and the kingdom is within us.
The Bible Psalm 82: 5 - 7
But these oppressors know nothing; they are so ignorant !
They wander about in darkness, while the whole world is shaken to the core. I say, ‘ You are gods; you are all children of the Most High. But you will die like mere mortals and fall like every other ruler.’”
The Bible John 10: 33 - 36
" We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews,
" but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." Jesus answered them, " Is it not written in your Law,
' I have said you are gods ' ? If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came and the Scripture cannot be broken what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ' I am God's Son '?
Have a pleasant day.

No, man and God aren't one. I don't recall Jesus saying God was within. That sounds New Age to me. Do you have scripture that you're looking at?

When Jesus quoted that "I and the Father are One" he did not only mean in unity but he also meant Literally, you will often see Jesus say "the Father is IN ME" or "It is not me that does the word but by Father IN ME, he does the work" or "From now on, you will know that i am in the Father and the Father is in me".
When Jesus say "The Father is in him and he is also in the Father" it is indicating that God CANNOT be contained in one body, He is omnipresent and fills the whole universe, theirfore the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in the Son.
We are One with our creator but yet we are seperate people, we are all "BURIED IN CHRIST".

When Jesus said God was in us He meant that He'd always be with us loving us.He didn't mean we are God.If we were,we'd be sinless like Jesus. And I for sure have never heard of anyone but Jesus who had never sinned.Really He meant in our hearts.
