No.

You "burned" the roof of your mouth.

The roof of your mouth is "burnt".

There is not much you can do. Room temperature pudding was about all I could eat that wouldn't hurt to o bad. It is going to take a while before you are able to eat again. I had pizza that was too hot and the cheese stuck to the roof of my mouth and burnt me pretty severely.

"You learn thru experience" and "Body- heal thyself" is a couple of terms you may have heard.

Get away from the extremes(hot/cold) and spicy and hard/sharp edged foods would be included in that because the mouth is injured. It could take a month or longer as the roof does blister and the blisters break and loose skin hangs and drives you buggy as your tongue finds it. You are going to be eating bland soft foods for a while(like sandwiches-not toast) and warm coffee/tea/coco.

have your doc or dentist take a look at it. they can see it better than you can in the meantime, try one of those otc sprays that numb the throat. just spray the area affected. you could also try swishing with warm salt water. it can help to heal the area.

Go see your family doctor. They should be able to guide you in the right direction.

Try using some of that ora-gel stuff to numb it until it heals.

Just continue to deal with it, it will heal.

I would also suggest asking your doc to check it out.
