7out of 10 maybe right, and yes i am one of them.I could not care if people say i`m a racist.....this is just the typical left wing crap that gets chucked around whenever people complain about immigration. Also lets not forget thats its not just white people who moan,i have many black british friends who are fed up with whats going on in our country.
The only way you will stop mass immigration is to stop giving handouts to anyone that turns up on our shores with a sob story.
just at add this point:
yes they do do jobs that british will not do this is done because they are seen as cheap labour, they are exploited and i`m sure had bosses be made to pay the same wage as a brtish worker they would not get employed.I have a big mortgage and i cannot compete with the new influx of eastern europeans.Try paying a mortgage of £750 pm on £7 pph cos that what they will work for. They are bringing wages down on buliding sites and hgv drving ask anyone who works their now if the wages have come down......I am a hgv driver and i`m seeing so many polish drivers coming overe here its worrying,my mate has been doing the sane job on an agency for the last 2 years but they have now taken on a polish driver to do his job because he is about £4000 cheaper this is going on all over the place but hey if all you lefties are to blind to see it then maybe you should go set up camp in another country where people can come and go freely and then see how you would survive. This country does not need anymore.
But i do agree with the statement about brits abroad......if you intend to live in another country the least you should do is the learn the language. No language then no entry.
Another thing.stop coming up with the daily mail statement people do read other papers and listen to radio stations so this daily mail crap is just a cheap reply.
Tell you what to all you lefties that say we need more imigrants, come to south east london its full off people from all over the globe. The goverment should now cap the amount of people who wish to live here.
I feel sorry for the next few generations leaving school because it will be far harder to get a job and its will proberley be with alot less pay

That's your sad experience- and I understand how scary it was, let me tell you about my sad experiences Where I live, it's "Brits" who are the problem. White, pure to the bone British chav scum rule the roost in my street. Crime, anti social behaviour, cars being stolen and arson. The people who cause the least trouble seem to be anybody who doesn't fall into this category As for the Polish, well I have a few Polish friends, my partner is not a UK citizen either. Anyway, he got up and went to work in the same place with those Polish guys for wages that most of the lazy work shy losers round here would not get out of bed for. The only people I see causing trouble in my neck of the woods are white, lazy foul mannered Brits. I have been sexually assaulted before. It was by one man. Now if I concluded that because of my experience that all men are animals, then I would probably go through life jaded and unhappy. The difference between you and me is that despite my personal experiences I do not assume that because one dog has bitten me, that all dogs always bite. That is an ignorant and naive conclusion to say the least. Not all people are bad, and bad people come in all kinds of shapes and sizes Also I think you need to get some help and support, sexual assault is a terrible and terrifying thing to go through. You should not have backed down in pressing charges- even if the police have let you down, it's very important. Whatever the consequences, another woman has now suffered the same fate as you- and that is on your conscience. Yes it's easy to be angry...I know how that feels and you want somebody to blame. So you blame the system and generally damn all migrant workers. Only one person did this to you- not many..just one man, and you backed down and let him win. You can't blame every other migrant worker for that fact. What if somebody is raped?...or god forbid murdered by this person?. Could you live with knowing that something you could have done may have helped stop that? The more complaints that are filed the more seriously it will be taken. I think you need to go back and complain again...he sounds like a dangerous individual who needs to be detained. my heart goes out to you...and I sincerely wish you the strength to recover from your terrible ordeal Seph x

Actually, the number of people more black minority ethnic backgrounds in the UK is in total only about 2 or 3%. Educate yourselves about the facts before spouting off crap. People's perceptions, certainly those people easy influence by politicians and media jumping on the band wagon, are grossly inflated, and it's quite sad. I think what you have a problem with is their skin colour, not their nationality. There are more expat brits spread throughout the world today than there is physical room for in the UK. If they all 'came home', we would sink! What about the white americans & australians who have settled here? Not hearing so much about them 'stealing work and houses' .
And when I hear 'they come here and don't integrate but when we go there we are expected to integrate'...I just laugh...I mean have you seen the huge expat communities in other countries. I know not all are small minded, but many are. They set up mini britains, only speak in english, expect ready access to british type food. And when some brits go on holiday they are just as bad, seeking out so called british restuarants, refusing to even try to learn the language, 'invading' whole sections of a city. Why is it OK for brits to travel, settle elsewhere, take from that country, make no effort to integrate, but not for people to do the same here? Rank hypocrisy and racism.
This is one world, no-one ownes it!

So it's 70% then? The 70% of people who think there are too many are basing their opinion on what they see around them and what they read in the newspapers, which is fine if it was right. But it's wrong, the evidence shows that there is not enough immigrants, see the link, or that immigration is vastly beneficial to the ecomony and society.
Note also that Britain as well as other countries have a duty to offer asylum to people under threat of death or persicution from their home state, and Brits have just as much right to move abroad as people do to come here. Note all the retired Brits moving to Spain and bizzarely Bulgaria, how is having a load of 70 year olds going to Spain helping the Spanish ecomony? But we have just as much right to go there, at least our immigrants are helping us!
So calm down.

You're simply a racist fool, who's been reading their Daily Mail too much. How can there be too many immigrants? They do the jobs the English won't do, and get paid wages the English wouldn't accept, so the argument they take jobs from the English is simply bullsh1t. They add diversity and interest to the blandness that is England. And as for your phrase "go home" - this is a world with free movement. People are entitled to go where they like. I wish people like you would go to the other side of the world and never come back - what a better country England would become overnight.

Much of South East Asia, the Indian subcontinent, West, East and South Africa ... have felt the same way about the Brits in the past. For history's A-starred economic migrants, the Brits have little ground for grouching when the tables are turned. Anyway, today's immigrants add variety, enterprise and skills. And for all the jokes about Polish workers (the special butts of scorn), I don't see any reluctance on the part of Brits to employ them.
Somebody has used the term 'bigot'. This is a harsh word that I'd prefer to avoid. But Chambers defines 'bigot' as 'a person blindly and obstinately devoted to a particular set of ideas ... and dismissive towards others'. Trish goes straight from the anti-immigrant statistics to how we can get rid of immigrants. She's anti-immigrant, doesn't question this attitude in herself, and is so dismissive of opposing viewpoints that she just ignores them and asks nothing more than simply how we can chuck out these alien nuisances. If the cap fits ...
Trish : you say you are not blind to the views of others. Well, you weren't blind in one way : you endorsed the views of the alleged 70% and went immediately, without argument, to the question of how immigrants are to be got rid of. But may I gently suggest that not being blind to the views of others doesn't just mean endorsing the views of people who agree with you. It means taking serious note of the views of those who don't. You didn't pause to think that there might, just might, be another side to the picture. I and others have tried to present that side. If I hadn't taken your views seriously, I wouldn't have answered the question.
In fact you do give reasons for your view, mainly that you don't like the prospect of being in a minority in your own country. I don't think that's an absurd view though I don't share it. But consider what you did : you took it as a completely open and shut matter that a majority think there are too many immigrants and without more ado you asked how the immigrants could be removed. Is that open-minded ?

Not going to get into the argument of deporting immigrants but Australia has the attitude that they will accept immigrants until it begins to affect their own culture and customs. Food for thought.

What do you define as too many? Currently English people outnumber immigrants by around 50 to 1.

I AM SICK of people saying immigrants are doing jobs we don't ant to do. if that is the case then tell me WHO did these jobs before ? hmmm i wonder could it have been us. this myth is propagated by employers, and liberals who have never had to do a job where an employer prefers a low paid immigrant to a higher paid indigenous employee. Why are liberals so thick as to not see this.
i listened to that news report too and it is about time the mojority stepped up and told the liberal minority that they are wrong regarding this mass Invasion of immigrants. we need to stem the tyde now or it is too late

It is higher , let them come but don't give them free NHS don't give them houses, don't give them DSS , in fact if they come here make sure they can keep there self's and there families for at least 10 years at least that way they would have put something into our country before taking.
Plus if this was to be the case just how many would come and stay? hmm.
I dont care what our goverment says they made a huge mistake and there still making it.
