Get out some photos of just the two of you together and make him a special album. He will LOVE it.

There isn't a better "real" present than you. In 10 or so years when you have moved onto your own life, what he is going to want to remember is time spent with you, not something that came in a box. Why not write him a letter or a poem telling him how you feel? Believe me, while you might think its lame, there will come a time when it will be like a box of treasure to your father.

I have no idea, if you know what his interests are give him something personal to go along with it. Such as if he is a white collar man go to Things Remembered and get him and you can get him a personal engraved pen. Or if he likes golf you can get him some personalized golf balls. Sorry, but it would kind of hard to pick a present for a guy you know nothing about.

as for a gift, does he have hobbies like ,golf,fishing,bowling,
as know its not the cost of a gift but the thought. i feel as i am a dad also that just being together is a great gift,maybe a card with how you feel in your heart about and a great big kiss..

That is very sweet of you, get him something he is interested in make him a special meal, photos he doesn't care what you give him. Write him a letter and tell him how you feel about him.

well you should list his interests, but tools are always good, guns or ammo for some guys (i love getting ammo) or maybe a stanley fatmax tape measure (best on the market)
