Since Jesus is supposedly God and therefore his own father does he need to give him anything? This is all very confusing.

No Jesus does not need to give God any thing God owns every thing even the world so it would be hard for any one to find him a gift all he wonts is our hearts you could give him that today.

Jesus will sit on the throne of David. He will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords in God's kingdom on Earth. He sacrificed himself for mankind. No further gifts are necessary.
