you need to calm down abit stop worrying about others, you be happy! people somtimes never think anything is enough, just be happy and you have fun!

U feel bad cause u allow yourself to feel bad. In today's society most people have been hurt in one way or another, so they have built a wall to protect themselves and when they see someone being nice they feel obligated to warn u so to speak, tell those folks that u don't have a problem being nice and u will continue to do so and they should have a good day. U being nice has no effect on them. Don't allow anyone to make u feel bad for being nice, there is nothing wrong with it at all.

Other people see being nice as a weakness! But it isn't, it's a strength. People are a**holes on the whole, and care only about themselves. So they see someone who cares about others as an idiot, naive, and weak.
Keep being nice, it is what is in you. All your life people will make you feel bad about it, just chalk it up to their own selfishness and idiocy. Your reward is the feeling you get inside when you do something good for someone, whether or not they appreciate it. And people who matter, they will see that you are nice and will gravitate towards you, and you will see that you have GOOD friends, not just people who hang out with you.
Just stay on guard for people taking advantage of your goodness, because they will. But if someone does, don't feel like you are stupid, and I am telling you ALL this from experience -- just realize that sometimes you see more of the good in someone than they want to use towards you.
They are weak, you are strong. Just remember that. I mean it. There will be rewards for you, in this life and the next. Just be intelligent about your actions, that's all.
And, realize that most of the people who use Yahoo! answers, even though many of them think they are just trying to get points, are really trying to get points helping other people out! So the people on here, they are good people, they are NICE too! Whether or not they see it.

If you have people around you who make you feel bad, you need to stay away from those people.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with being nice. Do not listen to others. They cannot judge you. Dont listen to them, its not worth getting upset or angry with these people. You are you. =)

lovly- celine, Sweetie I hear you, I am honest and that doesn"t go over to well either. We are living in a fallen world. Jesus is coming back soon so you stay nice and I will stay honest accept Jesus into your heart and perhaps we will meet in heaven !

there's nothing wrong at all, when people don't reach their goals or feel bad, they want to make everyone else around them feel bad as well, and since you're so positive, you're the one they all want to make unhappy

because they think that they can get away with it. people will see other *nice* people as pushovers and weak. i learned that once i married into a family full of very outspoken women. you can be nice, but dont ever let them think they can get away with bullying. you need to set them straight right away!
