YES! It is because, THE HOLY SPIRIT in the various images appear to the servants of GOD-the prophets and Saints. These images are that of an angel, archangel, ball of light like in the case of St Paul road to Damascus experience; THE VOICE OF GOD; in the image of VIRGIN MARY. These visitations of the HOLY SPIRIT ARE connected to the spirit of the servants of GOD IN THEM. With your question I have an article on the HOLY SPIRIT AS THE WORKER, on my website-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/THEGOODNEWSOFTHEKINGDOM/

Yes, I believe that the Holy Spirit is in me. In fact, I am quite sure of it.
Who, exactly, is"us"? Your statement could be made to sound as if you are declaring that H.S. is exclusively Catholic property...He is the property of all believing Christians, as I am sure you know.
Yes, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! Those who are not Christians can only feel the love of Christ through His people...that's what He gave us the H.S. for! If you have felt His love, the first thing you will want to do is to share it!
The feeling is pure ecstasy.

Are you familiar with what your own reference books say about the holy spirit?

The New Catholic Encyclopedia: "The O[ld] T[estament] clearly does not envisage God's spirit as a person . . . God's spirit is simply God's power. If it is sometimes represented as being distinct from God, it is because the breath of Yahweh acts exteriorly." It also says: "The majority of N[ew] T[estament] texts reveal God's spirit as something, not someone; this is especially seen in the parallelism between the spirit and the power of God."

A Catholic Dictionary: "On the whole, the New Testament, like the Old, speaks of the spirit as a divine energy or power."

So, the holy spirit is God's power or active force. It does not literally dwell in anyone. Instead, if we are doing our best to serve God, God's spirit will influence us continue to do the right thing in God's eyes.

Read Ephesians 1:13-14...

He indwells us at the moment of salvation.

When you get saved, God seals us with the Holy Spirit of promise....who is the guarantee....or literally....the down payment of our salvation.

This is why eternal security for the true believer is absolute truth
