I have no other symptoms, no head trauma, nothing has changed in my life, diet, etc. and I normally don't even get headaches. It is a constant dull pain from the minute I wake until I go to sleep. My vision also seems to be the same. I had an MRI done- anxiously waiting for results. Excedrin, Sudafed headache etc. don't work for me. Any ideas?

Omg well at least you took a step by getting an MRI. I hope you talked to your doctor too. Try rubbing your left temple in a circular motion. That helps with my headaches. As far as blurred vision, hmm have u been tested for diabetes? Check into it. Heck check everything...BP, Cholesterol etc. Hope everything goes well for you. Take care.

It sounds like you may be having problems with your blood pressure dropping when you rise up and this could be the problem. One other thing that I'm thinking that it could be is fluid volume deficit which can occur when you're not taking in enough fluids for you and the baby. Try upping your fluid intake for a few days and see if this relieves it. If not, check with your MD. OB is not my specialty but I have heard of this problem before.

We have treated 15 - 20 yrs cases.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Problem seems to be in Liver. If you are very cool and never excite/become angry then your liver is deficient. If not it is excessive most probably due to sour, salty or spicy foods or alcohole.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

Wait for the results and the doc will tell you if somethings wrong. Could be a tumour or something. Maybe even stroke? Blood clot?

(dont mean to freak you out!)

It could even be something minor..
Anxiety causes dull headaches, could be that? Or tension?
Nurofen caps are good for pain relief.

It may be that you are worrying so much about the headache that you are creating it as a tension headache all by yourself.
For the same reason, the tension of wondering what is wrong, is what is making you think your vision is blurred.

Any history of hypertension in your or your family? The MRI is a good 1st step. I'm surprised you don't get at least a call from your doctor clearing you from the MRI...those are read pretty fast.

firstly. DO NOT STRESS OUT. alot of things that dont feel right can end up being nothing at all. never freek out until you have seen your doctor and gotten some results. stressing over it can just make you even sicker.

go to the doc and sort it out. get more sleep too.
