well it doesn't change my opinion.
the Bible says when two people are joined in holy matrimony it is sacred and should be seen as a gift from God.
Surely we can't say that Jesus wasn't the perfect sacrifice just because he might not have been a virgin, it after all is not against God's will to have sex within a marriage.
If you're faith is strong enough you won' let this secret books not included in the Bible put you off, it is after all just the different views and experiences of the followers of our Lord.
We can't really speculate about this because truth is we won't ever know all of the facts, all we can do is believe and put our faith in God alone.

The books you refer to are called the Gnostic gospels. People that knew people that had a cousin that knew someone that heard about “Jesus” wrote them. In other words, they were not first hand knowledge. They also contradict what people that knew, walked, prayed, and learned from Jesus Christ Himself.
I would rather learn from the master and the actual people that knew him (Matthew and John) than someone who knew someone that knew a friends cousin, I think you get my drift.
Jesus Christ was never married nor did He have children. The gospel of John covers these issues. John was one of the three closest to Jesus. He (John) was in the inner circle of friends.
There is a miss-conception about Mary Magdalene, too. The Holy Bible tells us that Jesus delivered her from seven demons. It also tells us that she was a financial supporter of Jesus' ministry. She was also at His cruifiction and resurrection. That's what the scriptures tell us about her, that's it...no more, no less. Again, from first hand knowledge.
The what if question is a waste of time. "Wondering" is a waste of time. We know the only authority on the birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the Holy Bible. Period. You either accept it or you reject it.
You have a choice. There are consequences to both choices. Accept Jesus and you will spend eternity with the living God. Reject it and you will spend eternity where there is eternal torment, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
What path will you choose? Remember, your decision will last an eternity.

You know, I really do not understand what the deal is with Jesus and sex. (Not saying that He did or did not) Jesus was a Human on earth of the flesh. The same temptations that get us also got Him. But the difference is, is that Jesus was a stronger individual than any other Human on earth before, now, or in the future.
I do know, however, that God's first commandment to Adam and Eve was to be fruitful and multiply, but us as humans make sex an ugly thing with the way we portray it in everyday life.
It will not change my views if it was proven, If He did have a wife, or not.
I accept Him in all His Glory

Due to the fact that these
Christians use the Protestant Old Testament which is lacking 7 entire books 2 (Tobias, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus/Sirach, Baruch, I Maccabees, and II Maccabees), 3 chapters of Daniel and 6 chapters of Esther may be one of the reasons they ask catholics so many questions.
For the Sola Scriptura this is too bad .
In the 16th c., Luther removed those books from the canon that lent support to orthodox doctrine, relegating them to an appendix. Removed in this way were books that supported such things as:
prayers for the dead (Tobit 12:12; 2 Maccabees 12:39-45),
Purgatory (Wisdom 3:1-7),
intercession of dead saints (2 Maccabees 15:14),
and intercession of angels as intermediaries (Tobit 12:12-15).
The lesson, though, is this: relying on the "Bible alone" is a bad idea; we are not to rely solely on Sacred Scripture to understand Christ's message. While Scripture is "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16-17), it is not sufficient for reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. It is the Church that is the "pillar and ground of Truth" (1 Timothy 3:15)! Jesus did not come to write a book; He came to redeem us, and He founded a Sacramental Church through His apostles to show us the way. It is to them, to the Church Fathers, to the Sacred Deposit of Faith, to the living Church that is guided by the Holy Spirit, and to Scripture that we must prayerfully look.

Well I dont believe Jesus to have been married. He loves each and every one of us the same. We dont know about Jesus' life between His teen years the start of His ministry when He was 30. Why could he not have been married then? Who really cares He was sinless. Having sex is not a sin. Having sex and not being married is. The Bible doesnt mention it so Im going with a I dont know who cares He gives me all I need and so much more. Try Him youll Love Him. Peace out........

You do err greatly.
Jesus WAS married... to Israel. The old covenant is viewed as being a marriage covenant, where God (Christ) was married to Israel; a cunning and deceitful, adulterous wife who he then put away, and later died on the cross to end that marriage. Christ then took on a new wife; the church.
Your take on the matter would have Christ be guilty of adultery and polygamy.

God's Word is " Complete." The Lord warns man in Revelation 22:18-19 not to be careless towards any part of God's Word by adding to it, or taking away. Failure to heed God's Word with total seriousness is a matter of life and death. Jesus came to earth for ONE purpose....to die on a cross for the sins of mankind. He came to serve, not to be served. He NEVER had any form of relationships except with His Father in heaven and His believer's/follower's with the purpose of teaching them, not playing footsies. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice, no matter what mankind does to try and distort that fact.

My faith isn't based upon whether Christ was married or not. The books that were chosen to go in the Bible were selected by a committee. I imagine whatever didn't go with what they wanted to promote was left out.

First of all Jesus was NOT married, & 2nd, Mary was a virgin until Jesus was born & then after that Joeseph & Mary had other childrens, Therefore since Jesus birth, Mary was no longer a virgin as the catholic church trie to make it so today. Now to answer your question, Rev. 22:19 If any man shall add to or take away from the prophecy of this book God will add unto them plagues, & God shall take there name out of the book of life.

Do you like apples? Yes, because it is sweet and juicy!
But don't you know that the apple tree is fertilized with dungs?
No problems, I only care about its sweetness and juiciness!
As for Jesus, I love and like Jesus, because I have tasted His love and goodness. Who cares about Dan Vinci Code and those other books produced by money-thirsty filthy brains?
I am sorry for all of you, who have not tasted the love of Jesus.
