Becasue if they worshiped God they would also belive that Jesus was not just a prophet he is indeed the living Begotton Son of the living God, and they would also belive in miralces as God is a God of the supernatural, they would also believe that God gives dreams and visions for today, they would also call God Father, and if they worshiped God they would not deny the Holy Spirit, and if they worshiped God they would know that no man comes to the Father expect through His Son Jesus. Also if they worship God, not Allah, but God the creator of all things they would know that Jesus died for them on the cross so they do not have to go to hell. "For God so loved the world he gave his only Begotton Son, that who ever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. Mohamad cannot give them eternal life, and Mohammad certainly did not rasie himself from the dead like Jesus did. After all Jesus showed himself to many people after he rose and over 500 people saw him ascend back into Heaven then a cloud covered him from thier sight.

we dont claim anything, we just worship THE one God.
As matter of fact, my teacher (at a christian school) always claims that christians worship the same God as muslims.
There is only one God (in arabic Allah) and that is the God of everything and everyone.
People just perceive and understand God in different ways and forms.
Like Christians believe god had a son, and he is 3 parts, on the other hand Muslims believe that God is ONLY one and has no partners or sons.

It is a pillar of faith to believe in the original Revelation of the bible but as you well know, the bible has been chopped and changed over the years. If it is good word then why does it say its king James version? Even Christan scholars claim they are not sure about the authenticity of the bible.
If Jesus (upon him peace) was what you say he was, he ate, slept, bled, cried and did all other normal things that a human does. How could he be anything else but human?
The trinity idea was a mix of mythriac and pagan ideas that was spread as part of the roman empire by Constantine. The bible was changed nicean creed and then anyone who disagreed with the official roman teachings was killed.
Muslims believe the early Christan's where the true ones the ebonites who were all massacred. Due to these and other reasons the Bible is not considered to be authentic and that's why God sent the religion of the Islam. Remember Christianity and Judaism was considered one religion until Paul changed that.
Islam is not a new religion either as all the Prophets preached monotheism and prophethood just like Islam.

1) Open a bible in arabic and you will see that the arabic word for god is Allah. Even christians who read in arabic call their god allah. God is in english. Allah in arabic.
2) You would be shocked that in the old testament (OT) there is no such things as "trinity". Is it wise or foolish to believe that all those great ancient prophets before Jesus did not know god was split in three persons, the father, the son and the holy spirit?
3) God has many times claimed that he is one in the OT and he has no associates, just like the quran claims.
I wonder why people use Yahoo Questions/Answers for debates. Is it written yahoo debates? People are here be answered. But what you are doing and most people here, are asking questions which they already have a biased answer and they will reward the one which come closest to their own answer.

Thank you for quoting a lot from the second part of the Bible! Sorry to say that Christians are not yet settled on the definition of one God of OT?
Muslims surely believe in "one God" as defined in OT and reject the so called inspired theory of Trinity!
Jesus never said - He was God - and believers should worship Him?? Show us a single verse in NT.
We belive Jesus was word of God and word of God is the creation of God and Not the God Himself!
We don't have to worship The Holy Spirit because it is nothing but Angel(s) who were sent to various prophets like Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.
Angels are also creation of God hence we do not worship any Creation of God.
The main problem with christains is that they do not care what their Master said to them but they care and believe false inspirations, dreams and personal letters of St.Paul.

If Jesus said I am son of God then he also said I am son of man? This notion was meant as "beloved" or close-to-God just according to the Jewish language and culture. We Muslims have no objection to call God as Father= loving as taken by Moses and Israelitis.
Unfortunately Paul changed the meanings of these two words (Father / Son )and created his own philosophy which is not yet accepted by Jews and Muslims. Trinity is not found in Bible nor Jesus preached for Three Gods?
Jesus said " I am the way...to God" and we Muslims endorse it without any doubt that "He Was the way" for Jews of that time. We believe that every prophet comes with the authority of God and if any one wants salvation and eternal life he should follow the way of his prophit.
