Listen to Dane Spotts' Healing Music Library. Among its helpful tracks, there is a lifesaver called Peaceful Sleep. It's track no. 5 for easy reference.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress,
dietary and medical problems. By making
small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly,
insomnia can be cured. I found the information
at http://www.nosleep.in/insomniacause.html

Software? How about thinking about something from work that's so boring it puts you to sleep. Listening to the computer's built-in "power supply band" or "hard drive disco" isn't likely to help your insomnia.

Why would computer software help you be able to sleep..? That sounds kinda like nonsense to me.. just drink a glass of wine, lay down, close your eyes, count slowly backwards from 50 while taking deep breaths (still keep your eyes closed).. you won't make it to 1 because you'll have already fallen asleep.

I don't know of any software but you might try yoga. During my early years I had trouble relaxing, don't know the name of the position but I know I felt as if I was floating. You have to work at it and I mean, if at first you feel nothing keep at it. You Will survive

The best "software" for good sleep is a mattress that feels like heaven to you.
