Being 700 lbs. my options are limited. While I have everything I need here, including a microwave on my headboard, a spacious refrigerator next to the bed, an X-Box, and a lettuce box full of Thai ladyboy DVDs, I imagine there will come a day when I have to leave this shangrila to have my bedsores tended to by someone who won't vomit on me and make them worse than they are. When that day comes, I'm guessing Mauri Povich will show up with a wrecking crew to tear out one of my bedroom walls so they can load me onto a flatbed trailer. While I'll be grateful for this, I will summon the strength to punch him in the nose with my ham-sized fist for his sadistic treatment of the girl with the pickle phobia. He was obviously enjoying himself. What a dick. He'll probably make fun of me, too. On second thought, hopefully I'll be rescued by Pee-Wee Herman. I can count on that dude to bring some ice cream, too.

It's so easy! Here are the steps:
1) open the door of the room.
2)walk out of the room.
3)turn and close the door

To leave the room, I will first have to extract myself from my huge bean bag. I adore the comfort, but will admit it's become more difficult as the years pass to get up and out of it. (Okay -- I'm 57) Can't give it up tho, it's just too perfect for computing. Once I've rolled over onto my knees, and risen to a vertical stance, I will take my dog and walk out the door.

The same way as we change the world budddy, one step at a time. And as we walk we call desperatley to those around us imploring them to join in our steps that we may all 'leave this room' as you say and enter the better world that awaits as a result of our actions.
