I feel like flying off the deepend about this entire ordeal, but I know that would not help the situation at all.
On Tuesday, I had a flight from Indpls to Miami with a connection in Charlotte. When I first went to check in my bags in Indy, I had 3 bags and was told that I would have to pay $80 for the extra bag. I was told that all my bags were too big to be considered a carry on so taking 1 bag on the plane and checking the other two in was not an option. I gave the worker my card to pay the $80. After about 15 minutes of hearing the guy tell me " your card is not working" I told him that I would walk over to the ATM across the Lobby and get the cash. I gave the worker the cash, and he gave me my tickets. The entire flight was a disaster, and I didn't get my luggage until the next day at the opposite airport they told me it would be at. Today, I find that US Airways still CHARGED my card even though I gave them the cash payment. Whats the most effective way to ***** & get my $ back

My gf is a business traveler 5 days a week and we deal with this crap all of the time. Unfortunately, they don't have some little room at the airport where you can go in and just pound the $shiiittt out of some airline employee.

For how much i would love to give you a way at getting some satisfaction, call the U.S. Airways toll free number and ask for customer service. Make sure you have the credit card statement handy as well as the ATM transaction receipt. This will mark the time that this happened. They are likely to check video footage to see you handing someone the cash.

To feel better, my gf just rains blows on top of the customer service phone people....that's what they are there for.

Just dispute the extra charge with your credit card company. Make sure you have a receipt for the cash transaction.

Deal with your credit card company. US Airways will not help you with this situation in a timely manner.

In todays business world you are just a number and really don't have much of a say in anything. They just want more, more, more, money.
