What is the consequence of denying Christ after you have accepted him as your personal saviour? There are surely consequences in this world for God's children who have turned from him ( by his children I mean all who are saved by Christ)but what about the next life? I'm not asking if a christian can lose his/her salvation because I do not believe that it is possible and I'm firm on that belief. Pastor John Hagee has said something about saved christians who literally stink in heaven because they turned from God after they were saved and stopped following him or something like that. I'm still not sure if he was joking or what. So.....what are the after-life consequences of a christian who has turned from God?

As children of the one and only true God when we move in a direction he does not want us to go he disciplines us and doesn't punish us. Punishment for example would be hell, the punishment of sins and never accepting Christ as your saviour and always saying no to him every time he came to you. God's children will not be punished when they get out of his way but disciplined and discipline is God telling us to come back to him. When a child of God purposely sins it's painful, it's deep guilt but not punishment. We are so blessed to have a loving God who pulls us back to him when we begin to separate from his way.

non-believer? no way!! I cannot forget what is the truth. Even if I turned from god and chose to be stubborn and not listen to him anymore I could never forget the truth he taught me. It would be inescapable. A christian who has been saved and who has experienced that amazing feeling of being accepted by God as one of his children and being forgiven off ALL his/her sins can choose to disobey but will never forget the truth.

I'm sorry by deny I meant not to deny his existence or to deny he is the son of God BUT to deny his will into your life once again.

While I am not a Christian, I understand that in that system the road is narrow: "....Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Attributed to the Christ)

" For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. Fot it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandments delivered unto them ( 2 Peter 2:20-21 ). This is one of many verses that describes that you most certainly can forfeit your salvation. In this world, you lose joy, the blessing of knowing that your prayers are heard, you lose His divine protection, you'll lose the best friend that you'll ever have, etc. But worse, when you stand before the Lord, you will hear His words, " Depart from me, I never knew you" ( Matthew 7:21-22 ). But 1 John 2:18-19 says that the many who will depart from the faith were ones that were never true believer's to begin with, or they were ones that once had a saving faith, but have committed personal apostasy... which is eternal seperation from God. I pray that you truly come to know the Lord. Because when you do, you'll NEVER consider leaving Him.

I am no longer a Christian but I have not turned against Christ. It's his followers I have a problem with. They give Him a bad press and have turned many good people away from religion and church completely. When I was no longer able to tolerate Christian dogma I found God in the natural world and Paganism saved my sanity. I am finally at peace with God and life and the world. Religion is destructive and evil. Christ is poorly represented by it.

Try to read "Spirit filled Believer's Handbook by Derek Prince".
It's the best bible study book ever, (in my opinion since it answer almost all of my question about Christianity). It was scriptural, and the topic is range to answer all from beginning to the end times judgement. (a thick hardcover book)
I'm sure you can find your answer in that book.
Sometimes to find an answer, you must try harder to find it out. That means, alot more bible study work to do, or buying books from trustable source.
Good luck :)

If you deny Christ after accepting him, you don't care of the consequences. I am no longer a believer and after denouncing Christ, what else is there? The bible means nothing to you, religion means nothing to you. Us non-believers couldn't care less because there are no consequences for us.

i accepted him when I was younger, but went through so much in church. I found out that my pastor molested my wife at a young age and then the associate pastor made me masturbate in front of him because I was 18 and addicted to porn. through all of that crap, I left the church. I still believe in god and accept Christ as my savior, but it just seems like a cruel humiliating joke sometimes.

Thank you God,thank you lord, thank you lord and in much tears I say repeatedly, for blessing me instead of sending me back to my old master. Today, I live for God ,and if not for his mercy Hell is surely where I belong . What I did and say, if mention, will surely put the atheist and the critics of other faith in this site looks tame. I pray that others be spare of their ignorance.Don't turn away from God, Please. Don't run away from Grace. The price you have to pay is your soul.

I know that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin. As in the person that commits it will never be able to go to Heaven.
Read your Bible, don't believe everything people tell you.
