I would go to Utah and Arizona and some of the places out in the desert where people don't get out much and don't know about the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, plus it is warm and beautiful. Also try the streets of Las Vegas. You can witness to many and relax in the desert at night.

If I were responsible for the trip, I'd have to choose someplace in dire need but the location would also have to be safe (there's lots of dangerous, hostile places in the world right now).
Africa has the neediest people. According to Wikipedia:
. . . "In July 2005, the Famine Early Warning Systems Network labelled Niger with emergency status, as well as Chad, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia and Zimbabwe. In January 2006, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization warned that 11 million people in Somalia, Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia were in danger of starvation due to the combination of severe drought and military conflicts. In 2006, the most serious humanitarian crisis in Africa is in Sudan's region Darfur." . . .
“Approximately 790 million people in the developing world are still chronically undernourished, almost two-thirds of whom reside in Asia and the Pacific.”
According to UNICEF, 30,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.”
That is about 210,000 children each week, or just under 11 million children under five years of age, each year.
I'm an American living in the Philippines. Here, in Cebu City, there is a lot of poverty. Most of it is kept out of sight. But you can go to the garbage dump and see many people subsisting off of foul and rotting garbage.
The Philippines can always use kind-hearted assistance from missionaries. I'm sure anybody's heart will be moved when they see how much suffering there is here and how deserving these children are.
I'm sure that, where ever you guys choose, the recipients of your love and kindness will never forget your direct intercession into their lives.

I wonder how you'd feel if "missionaries" came here from another country and started telling you that your beliefs are wrong, and you'd better change or you'll suffer for eternity.
Of course, if they were people who wore only loincloths, they'd probably tell you that your clothes are "sinful."
Stay home and volunteer to work with Habitat for Humanity. Do something that actually helps people.

Perhaps a tour of the Christian churches to try and teach the principles of the Christ's teachings. They'll even have their own bibles.
