What do you think if you see a hot girl with an unatractive guy, or an unatractive girl with a handsome guy?
The reason I ask is that I got a boyfriend ... He is not an attractive guy, but he really has the best personality! My friends tell me I can do better than that. Well Im taking him along on holiday and Im worried what people going to say or think. I know I love him , but it bothers me what people are thinking of me..
Can you tell me what you would think?

I instantly think there must really be something to the unattractive person for the good looking person to be with them.

Looks aren't as important as what's on the inside of a person.
If you reversed things and he was the best looking guy in the world; but when you were with him, he was the most boring person you've ever met. He had no personality, no charm, bad ideas, didn't know how to do anything, and you couldn't wait for him to go home. You would start wishing for somebody with something besides his looks.
After a while, a person who is unattractive grows on you. You get so his looks mean nothing to you if you really like him. He will grow on your friends too. Before you know it, nobody will think he is unattractive. He will look handsome.
Also, if you treat him like he is the best looking guy on earth; it will change him so much that he will be handsome to you. Somehow he will be better looking because of the way you treat him. But, it won't happen unless you stop dwelling on it and worrying what your friends think.

How mean of your friends to even tell you that you can do better than him. Don't listen to your stupid immature friends.
If you love the guy, don't let what other think or might think about him change how you feel. You love him for whatever reasons you do. You wrote he has the best personality! He must be good to you - if attractiveness is so imp. to you, then you need to make a choice. Can't guarantee the next attractive guy you meet with have a super personality like this guy... tit for tat... might be a tradeoff, who knows?
Most important is how he feels about you and how you feel about him and dont let your stupid friends sway you.

Too be honest, I does make me curious unless its easy to see he has a great personality, which is hard if i was just passing by. When I see couple that appear uhmmms missmatched? I figure that they must be really in love, because they aren't held back by societies ideas on what a perfect couple should look like. ( I myself am in an age different relationship, an occasionally wonder what people think, but in the end, all that matters is how I feel about him, If people dissapprove or pass judgement, that is their own character flaw, Hooray for Love!!! :)

I wouldn't really think anything about it. Just be your self. Don't let others cause you to think that looks are the only thing that matters. When relationships are based solely upon looks, that is a relationship that will meet it's end some day, most of the time. Looks fade away and all we have left after that is our personality. That means that personality should be the most important thing we see in others.

Don't worry about shat anyone else thinks. If he is a great guy, once they get to know him, they will like him too.
Your life should not be dictated by what other people think. Have the courage to be an indvidual. Do what you think is best for you. You are the one that it will affect in the long run.
Besides, most of those good looking guys are players anyway!!

Who cares what we think?! If you love the guy, THAT alone should be enough for you. But I would look at you two and be happy you found each other, hope that helps?

i'm not been funny but you go with your heart.
I think they are alot of people now adays with an unatractive partner but their are so happy togever (so be it)and most of them are togever for the rest of their live's

people can think or say whatever they want,the important thing is your love between you and your bf. sometimes people say something about your relationship because they are jealous of you. don't worry and enjoy your holiday
