Most of the time, people who ridicule others tend to be past victims of such circumstances. Or, they just LOVE your reaction when you try to swallow your shock.

In the first case, past victims may want to achieve this superiority feeling and therefore proceed to do this type of 'thing' to make others feel the way they felt in the past.

In the second case, they could be PERVERTED. Well, at least that is what I think of those who messes with me, making my life miserable.

But! I definitely won't be like CASE I victims.
