the dream was about a friend who recently died he was at his own funeral as a corpse and sitting on a big chair there seemed to be a carnival at his funeral and his wife (who isn't dead) was seated beside him. There was a family member there who i don't speak to, who was with a scary old woman and the woman was trying to grab at people. I know dreams dont always mean anything i was just curious about this dream.

It may have been a 'visitation'. Your friend may have came to you visit you in your dream but was unable to communicate the way they wanted to.

This is just off the top of my head. Weigh the truth of it. The entire family is being distracted by something spectacular, while the grabbing woman is full of contempt. It would seem that the member you didn't talk to was telling things about the family that he should not. She wants something from your family. Because she was grabbing 'people', it would see that she wanted control over them.

Don't let her control you. Find out what is valuable and keep it safe.

EDIT: The grabbing woman is probably figurative, not literal.

A lot of dreams are just a jumble of thoughts. Though you can take it to mean that: Your friend made you happy (carnival, unless you've had bad experiences with carnivals). That's about all I can really interpret :/

some people get these dreams...at least I do, its kind of like a sixth sense (if the person died after you got the dream) and if you dreamt this after it happened you were probably sad........................
