Lemon juice is a citric acid and belongs to the group of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) that slough off dead skin, promote elasticity of the skin, and encourage new skin cell growth. Lemon juice is one of few home remedies for acne that also works for scars. From my own experience, using lemon juice helped my scars disappear quickly and controlled my moderate acne. If you have dry skin do not use it! But if not try it, It does the same job as the peel maybe the results are not that fast but after about 2 weeks you will see improvements!
Good Luck!

thats not a good idea, u will jus dry out ur skin and make it full of pigment, try a face wash with ahas, and during the day use a high spf, of a night moisturise ur eyes with a good night cream and apply a fading cream with the ingredient, equinone. it resurfaces and takes away red pigments form sun damage natural aging and acne, its best to buy something than ruin ur skin with lemon.

try a cream called creme de la mer, you can buy it online or from harrods or harvy nics, it is £80 for a 30ml pot which is very expensive i agree, but you can buy it off ebay for £15 for a 7ml pot. it was created by a scientist who had suffered from awful facial burns after a routine experiment went wrong. he has spent over 12years creating this cream to improve people's skin who are affected by facial burn, scars due to agressive acne and people with birth marks or problem skin. i purchased the cream as i suffer with problem skin and it really is miracle broth! i noticed a huge difference within hours it really smoothed out my skin and looked radiant. i would suggest you read some reviews online and make your own decision tho because what works for one might not work for another. good look

I would imagine so, as it's acid but try it first so you don't burn ur skin...also if u have acne marks there's an oil from the Andes called Rosa Mosqueta oil which is well known for healing scars etc..it has also been featured in the Sunday Times & Mail on Sunday, for more info please see link:
