3)Three friends go to a hotel to eat. Each of them have Rs.10/- in their pocket. They order a rice plate to eat. The cost is Rs.25/-. They pay for it. The waiter gives them Rs.5/-back. they give Rs.2/- as tip to the waiter and they share the remaining 3 rupees equally(Re. For each).
Now, they each spent 9 rupees….
so the total comes to.........(9x3) + Rs.2 tip = 27 + 2 = 29.and not 30 (10x 3)
why so? Where is the remaining one rupee?

3) the rice plate is for Rs 25.they get Rs 5 back.they paid Rs 2 as tip.so they paid Rs 27(25+2).the remaining is Rs 3.so each got Rs 3.

1.Only one person is going to the church i.e. you 2.O.K.,I have filled the grid 3.Actually ,they spent Rs.27(Rs. 25 on food & Rs. 2 as the tip to the waiter) & they were left with Rs. 3 which they divided among themselves .In all they spent Rs. 27

ans to 3rd question is first of all the price of rice plate is Rs.25 and they are giving tip of Rs.2 so totally they are spending 25+2=Rs27 and you had informed that each one of them are contributing Rs.9 so (9x3)=27
