Hello.
I run a small business, and I need a software to manage my contacts. This is what I need to do:
I interact with many people at my work. I need to have a record for each person, where I can write notes about that person. That's the main thing I need.

Price is not an issue. Which is the best program that does this?

Come on guys! Can't anyone recommend a good program that does this?

Microsoft Outlook. Not Outlook Express, but full Outlook. That's the definitive business email, calendar, and contact managing program. If you don't have Outlook (you probably do if you have Microsoft Office) then I'd recommend Mozilla's Thunderbird, which is free to download. No calendar though, but good contact management.

I also recommend Microsoft Outlook. It has exactly what you are looking for, but it is not customizable. For instance, I am proficient in Microsoft Access, which actually comes with templates for many different applications from Recipes to Address Books. The great thing about Access is that it is customizable. You can run reports to list all entries for a specific customer or city. You can do almost anything with it. I learned how to use the program via the Microsoft Office website. They have free training material and quizzes. You can also visit various discussion boards for more information.

Google search for: free personal information manager

You may not need a paid version.

Then, Google search for: personal information manager

To get a complete list.

Then, decide for yourself, there are too many to recommend.

You may have started networking or building your client base, to which you should do a happy dance, go on, no-one’s watching.
