I have a a peace sign on my calf, i got it when i was 14, and i was a hippie child. (yes, it still means something to me, no, i dont regret it!)

I have a tribal between my shoulder blades that i got shortly after I turned 18.

I have a phoenix with a nautical star on my right shoulder blade, to represent my husdand and I. The phoenix, to represent all the changes we have gone through, and the star so that we never get lost.

I have a tribal on my lower back. I drew it when I was 16, and got it when I was 20. It's pretty special to me.

I have a traditional style "I heart mom" on my left arm. I had been telling my mom for years I was going to get one. So I finally did last summer.

I have two lotus flowers on my chest, and they are completely inverted. (red w/ blue, blue w/ red) They are also a custom piece. I drew them myself. My best friend and I got them. only slightly different. She only got one, and it's on her lower back in different colors. Mine are inverted because we are very different, yet exactly the same.

Tomorrow I'm getting one of a star with wings on the back of my neck, to represent my freedom from myself. (that ones a long story!)

I have 4 tattoos:
-butterfly/rose on my ankle
-butterfly behind my right ear
-wolf on my left thigh
-black butterfly on my temple

I have had the oldest of these tattoos for 14 years. Before I get a tattoo, I pick out a design, and look at it every day for a few months. If I still like it after 5-6 months, I get the tattoo. I don't regret any of mine at all.

I don't...I would never make the mistake of getting one. Tattoos are not good for your skin. Plus, tattoos give females a "manly" look. YUCK!
