One could easily loose a pound a day. As a pound is 3500 cals. I have found that if one is on the treadmill for about 1 hour at about 2.95 -3.50 miles - 600 - 625 Cal's are burned. So.... The way I work that out is 3500 divided by 625 = 5.6 hours of a work out to reach that one pound a day. To take it further that would be about 7lbs a week or about 28lbs a month. Now this will be greatly increased if calories are kept between 1200 - 1450 per day.
I heard that Uma Therman (not sure on the spelling) was trying to get in shape for a movie after a baby worked out for 8 hrs a day for 2 month and dropped between 50 -80 lbs. Also on the Big Looser program one of the clients said that the program had them working out to 6 hours a day to loose the weight. So I think the bottom line is do the math. How much do you want to loose. Remember this can be done, it just depends on how much time you can devote to walking per day. I est. that you work out about 2.6 hrs per day. That could be about 1500 cals being burned .... give or take. Hope this helps.

you sound like a bat to me...
dear, losing weight isn't easy. By doing the above stuff I pressume you would like to lose several pounds in a month. There are no shortcuts babe. You have to make it a lifestyle.
Exercise 3-5 times a week. Don't eat after 6pm. And have a strong breakfast. Make sure to use the stairs or walk if its still in a walking distance.
Lay low on coffee esp.if you go heavy on the cream and sugar. For energy boost, instead of coffee try drinking green tea (japanese people always drink this and they're the country with the least obesity problems).
Our body only needs 5 hours of high quality sleep. 8 hours makes you fat. Siestas make you obese...

I think that will help lose more than a pound a day. It sort of sounds like you're exercising too much throughout the day. Take it from me, I do a lot of sports like volleyball, swimming, cross country, tennis, soccer, etc. throughout the day and in a way, I'm sort of pushing myself over the limits. Maybe just spread the exercise times throughout the week. Don't push yourself too far. But I think a little meat and some grains, veggies, and dairies will help make a balanced snack or meal.

You're eating only fruit? What is the matter with you? All you're getting is Vitamin C. I hate to break it to you, but you need to eat three healthy meals a day, incorporating all foods. Look at the food pyramid and you'll see that you shouldn't be earing only fruits. You're working out too much, to be frank. Cut back on the workouts and focus more on your diet.

yeah man but don't eat only fruits thats not good for you!!! Well yes fruits are good for you, but you also need your vegetables, meat, and all that. Also you need to get fiber in your diet, along with protein, and vitamins that you can't get out of only fruits! Don't forget, eat your vegetables and meats, breads, and drink plenty of water when you're excercising. And also get good calcium, which you can of course find in milk. And eat some breakfast cereals like Cheerios or something to help that cholestorol. Well, good luck with your diet!

You will lose weight, but not correctly. Fruit has a ton of sugar, natural sugar, but sugar all the same. I would recommend a nice mix of fruit, vegetables, lean meat, and even carbohydrates. Your work out sounds kind of intense. Make sure you're up to it before you start...in fact, you may want to work your way up. Good luck!

The normal pace is between 1-8 pounds lost per week. You have to lose 3500 calories to drop a pound of body fat.
What you are doing will help, but one has to work really really really really hard to lose a pound of body fat in a day .
Good luck.

Sure it will help you lose weight but only fruits may not be the right way.Fruit have lots of sugars and bananas have the most fat in fruits.Try lots of veggies too and remember that too much bulk in your diet isn't too good.Best bet is reduced calorie diet and burning more than you take in.GL

Yes but you need to eat more especially vegetables and meats.
And try not to strain your body so much during exercise.
