i think he will be just fine but if u feel insecure you could take him to the vet, just to be sure..

Tina: its not like she dropped the dog on purpose , it must've been an accident. its not nice to go around insulting ppl.

Yes, he will be fine. I too, have encountered a similar incident. My Chihuahua was running around when he bumped into me, then I accidentally stepped on his foot. He howled and limped off. Slowly afterwards, he started running around again as if nothing had happened. But, he was also licking his injured leg. I guess when dogs injure themselves, licking the injured area is a normal reaction. It's a way for them to heal. However, if it persists I would recommend taking it to the vet. Other than that, your dog should be fine.

if the place that you've drop him is not so high, may be he get some hurt. But not a serious hurt, you have to watch him when he walk or running hat is he walk like normally?. about licking i think this is a normal behavior of dogs, cats when they got hurt. But about after shock you can test by yourself. you just hold him high same the time that you've drop him , and check his behavior. Did he cry? or look frighten?. i hope he'll be ok too

I'm pretty sure your dog is just find! My brother dropped my small chihuahua too, see my chihuahua was on the navigator seat and when my brother opened the car door it jumped out and went directly on the concrete floor (which is a large jump!) It was paralyzed for awhile which is much worst but at the end my dog is always active now! so your dog is fine

I always accidentally drop my chihuahua. I'm sure he's fine, maybe he's licking his legs because he got just a little bruised or he's tired from running!

If he's running around and playing, it sounds like he should be fine. If he continues to lick his legs, check & make sure there's no swelling. If you notice swelling or he continues to be whiny, I would contact my vet & see what they have to say. They might want to check him out.

It's best if you consult a vet. Massage him often carefully, you'll see, he'll be better in no time. Don't worry, dogs live a long life. He'll be okay.

It may be okay it is hard to tell but you need to touch the spot hard enough for him to feel but not so hard that it hurt... If he yells or acts like it hurts take him to a vet ASAP cause it could be broken...
Hope it works out.... Best Wishes......

sounds like your little guy will be ok but his leg is probably sore. i am a vet tech at an emergency animal hospital. believe me, when small animals are dropped it can result in serious problems such as brain damage, broken bones,
or death. everyone, please be careful.

First of all you did the worst thing by dropping him like this, as pets cannot survive outside and moreover he is very small, and instead of asking this go and search for him.

think if your parent had dropped you like this how would you feel? better is go and get him he wont be able to manage without you.
